Travel down the hall with your book and settle into the quiet sitting room where you can doze off to views of the garden while the children are playing in the games room, pool table and tennis table.

Relax and socialise in the main sitting room with doors leading to the garden and a wood burning stove to warm the coldest of toes and the wet room is absolutely perfect after those hazy days spent playing on one of the sandy beaches. Upstairs the six lovely bedrooms are spacious and mainly garden-facing, two of the rooms are turret-style adding a touch of tower-like luxury.

Three of the bedrooms have the added benefit of en-suites and have access onto the balcony which stretches along the house and offers beautiful garden and countryside views, perfect for that morning breath of fresh air. The garden is an absolute delight with plenty of space for the children to run around or play on the slides and swings and let’s not forget the adults – a wonderful setting for al fresco dining or enjoying a cool drink along with a luxury bubbling hot tub which will ease away the day's activities.

The popular village of Braunton will cater for all your amenities and provide you with plenty of eateries and cafes where you must have the essential Devon Cream Tea! Nairn Reviews

House was fantastic for a week away with large family. Owners left a lovely welcome hamper, which was greatly appreciated by all. Property located only 1015 mins drive away from Saunton and Croyde beaches. Braunton town only a 15 min walk away, plenty of shopspubseateries etc.The kitchen was very well equipped for a large group. Kitchen and dining area a great social space for large groups. Excellent sized bedrooms. Garden and games room kept children of various ages occupied. Highly recommend this house, in the perfect location to keep everyone of all ages happy,
What an amazing week staying at Nairn. The house and garden were fabulous. Huge garden that the kids and dogs loved playing in. The house was enormous with loads of room for 10 of us and 2 dogs, very well equipped and spotless. Easy to walk into Braunton and a short drive to some wonderful beaches. Would love to come back and highly recommend.
A fabulous house in a convenient setting, close to town but very quiet. Lovely big garden, huge kitchen and loads of space very comfortable for one family or several. Well placed for a quick drive to the amazing beaches of North Devon.
We had a fantastic week in North Devon staying at Nairn house. On arrival the house was immaculate and we felt at home from the start with a welcome bottle of wine left by the owners. The local town has plenty of shops and places to eat and is only 1015 min walk away. The facilities in the house were excellent, with pool, table football and of course the jacuzzi was a massive plus. Overall the house was well presented with loads of space and quality throughout, we would highly recommend a stay. It was nice to get a call from Andy and Iona letting us know we could arrive early on the first day, which was welcome after a long drive. All in all a great week away and we would love to come back.

An outstanding holiday house, furnished and equipped to an excellent standard. Very spacious, lots of room to spread out. A lovely garden for the children to play in and the hot tub was a massive hit. Easy offroad parking and only a few minutes drive to the excellent Saunton Sands beach. A wonderful house in which to celebrate our Ruby Wedding anniversary and our granddaughter's second birthday.
Great property, very comfortable and well equipped. The large garden, hot tub and games room were a bonus.
Extremely comfortable house for a family group with good facilities inside and out. Particularly enjoyed the table tennis in between downpours!
Ideally positioned to explore the North Devon coast and within easy walking to good restaurants. The garden was great for the dog and the grandchildren and the gamesactivities were in excellent condition. A great place to stay for all ages!

A fabulous house for a family gathering. Immaculately clean and very comfortable. So much space you dont feel on top of each other. Hot tub and pool table a great hit. Great location with easy access to the superb beaches nearby. Short drive to Heddon Mouth which is a must do walk along the stream river to the sea. We all had such a great time and did not want to leave. Hosts superb , thank you Iona and Andy.

Perfect, just perfect. Our second holiday to Nairn and it was just as good as the first, better in fact as we were all together this time. A big thank you to our hosts, Iona and Andy for their lovely welcome cake and goodies too and for checking that all was well during our stay. We all had a lovely time and will definitely return. Thank you.
Adrian
Lovely big house with a large kitchen area and all the kitchen ware one needs to feed 1012 people. Good base for walking coastal footpaths, swimming or surfing etc. Very helpful owner.
Joanne
Highly recommended holiday home. The property is beautiful with a lovely garden and grounds. Lots of space for large parties and all the rooms are amazing. Our 4 year old daughter especially enjoyed exploring the garden, games room and loved the huge bath! On arrival we had a delicious cake to enjoy, along with other extras, which were a lovely surprise and added to our stay. The location is great as a base with attractions not being too far a drive away. A walk into the local village is just 15 minutes and the local Thai restaurant is worth a visit. A big thank you to Iona and Andy for accommodating our requests before our journey down and for our stay at Nairn, which was hassle free and relaxing. Will definitely be looking to book again.
This house is amazing ! So comfortable and spotless clean. The kitchen is so well equiped with everything you could think of available to use. We felt very lucky to stay in such a beautiful house with such a homely feel. We will be returning.
Nairn is an absolutely fantastic holiday house. We were a party of 11, aged between 70 and 3 and it catered for us all with room to spare! All the bedrooms were spacious with ample wardrobe space and great ensuites in the doubles. The main bathroom had a huge bath which the younger children enjoyed. Downstairs the accommodation was vast, the games room was very popular with the adults, the kitchendining room living room was very well equipped and the main lounge was huge! With the separate smaller sitting room providing some welcome quiet space on occasion. Outside the garden is great for children and the odd adult game of boules but the hit of the holiday, according to the children, was the hot tub. The location is great with a 1015 minute walk to town, Staunton Sands and various other places to visit within a short drive. With plenty of off road parking this really is a perfect holiday house. The owner, Iona, was very helpful with information before we arrived and we very much appreciated the welcome pack and delicious cake.
We had a very enjoyable week at this wonderful house and it's large garden. Plenty of space for all from the youngest grandchild to the oldest grandparent. All of us 7 adults and 6 children settled comfortably into the spacious surroundings. We just chilled in the house for the first two days before venturing out to nearby beaches. We particularly enjoyed Saunton Sands beach and Putsborough beach. They had cafes and toilets and plenty of space for the kids. An enjoyable 15 min walk to the shops and takeaways in village and a large Tesco only 2 miles away. Quick and easy to stock up on food and other essentials We would definitely recommend Nairn.
Lovely property although we found the departure time a bit testing but we did our best. Nairn is a credit to its owners and any one would find it a wonderful place to holiday.
Felicity
This is an ideal property for a multi family holiday in an area with lots to do for all generations. The house provides excellent accommodation a big garden and hot tub. Good cooking facilities and lots of pots and pans crockery etc. Within walking distance of food shops and restaurants. Good local walks Dog friendly beaches
Nairn is a lovely place for a big groupfamily holiday. The facilities, cleanliness and comfort were very good.. A lovely welcome pack awaited our arrival. The owners responded quickly and efficiently to any queries we had. We would rebook if we visited the area again.
Christopher
Lovely house, room to spread and do what you want. Thoughtful welcome package and the cake was delicious.
Nairn is a beautiful house in a beautiful setting with every facility you would need . The house was exceptional on cleanliness. Very well thought out as a holiday home .
The house was wonderful and the photographs simply dont do it justice. The house was far more spacious than we could have even hoped for. All the facilities were top drawer and I wouldnt think twice about recommending the property.
Debbie
The house was incredible, the furnishings, cleanliness, everything about it was amazing especially the hot tub. The Gardner and pool cleaner came while we were there so you knew that the tub was genuinely clean. The bathrooms were stunning and the family bath was the biggest Ive ever seen. The location is lovely although we did use the car most days to travel to see sights, but coming home was amazing. The owners were really friendly and messaged me so that we could share any concerns not that we had any. I didnt want to come home as Nairn was incredible.
Fantastic property, with some upgrades since the photos were taken. The new en suite bathroom with one of the bedrooms is a real wow! Loved the personal email from the owner before and after our stay. Great hot tub. All very clean and comfortable. Great area with short walk to the town and a 5 minute drive to the nearest beach. Would highly recommend.
Carrie
What a fantastic few days! The photos do not do the cottage justice even more beautiful when you get there! We loved the games room and it kept us entertained each night! The basket of goodies left in the kitchen was a very kind and appreciated gesture. We are planning on going back again every year if we can all get together.
Lovely house in a great location, prefect for large families and groups. Will hope to visit again in the future.
Excellent property. Well equipped. Extremely clean. Great location. Lovely owners who were quick to respond to emails in a friendly way.
Great place to stay with my family for christmas. Easy access to town and short drive to the beaches. Any issues we had were quickly resolved by the owners. I've already recommended the listing to others!
Andrew
Provision of an outdoor electrical socket at the front of the house for electric car charging would be good. Doesn't need to be anything special, just standard 13 Amp socket.
GILLIAN
As a party of 10 friends, we had a fantastic stay. The house exceeded our expectations, the pictures don't do it justice. Most of the rooms are huge, giving even 10 people plenty of space. Everything was very clean, all the extras in the house such as dishwasher tabs, tea towels, bin liners and amazing array of kitchen equipment means you can literally turn up with your clothes. There was never anything we wanted that we could not find. We even needed a piece of blutack and actually found one. The T.V is huge, the fires and hot tub added to our stay. Thank you Iona and Andy.
Elizabeth
Nairn is a beautiful spacious house but with a lovely welcoming, homely feel. We were extremely impressed with the way the owner had thought of everything and made the house very comfortable with all the equipment that you might want, this was over and above items you might need. The house itself, was spotless. There was a wonderful welcome pack with lots of lovely above average quality items in it. Attention to detail was apparent everywhere. There was the opportunity to do lots on a rainy day or sit in the quiet room and read a book. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed the beaches, the nearest one Saunton Sands was our favourite and just 10 minutes away. The owner was in contact by email and both very helpful and friendly with making suggestions and recommendations when asked, always responding promptly. It was a great place for a family get together and we are hoping to return with family members who couldn't make it this time.
Wonderful family holiday! Friendly hosts, who provided a lovely welcome pack. Nairn was a lovely house with all the home comforts. Lots of nice places to visit. Would recommend to friends and would definitely stay again
These pictures do not do this house justice, exceeded all expectations even down to the actual space inside and the tv in the lounge 75 inch we all bought popcorn each time when we watched a film enough seating for us all and there was 7 adults 2 teenagers and two babies The garden was immaculate, kitchen was equipped with everything you need big cooker two fridges and a chest freezer in garage catered for everyone,, every bedroom was big and the wet room downstairs was ideal for wetsuits and the room we called the library was ideal for reading totally amazing Totally enjoyable stay! !
A wonderful property with space for all of the family. Fun in the games room and space outside to stretch out. Time to chill out in the large lounge or in the library or even in the hot tub. No waiting around for the bathroom to be free as 5 to choose from! A very enjoyable stay for my family and our close friends family too, plenty of places to go and see in less than an hours drive in North Devon. Thank you Iona & Andy
The house was lovely and had everything we could possibly need. The only thing I would like to say to improve would be that the images of the property online do not do it justice! The size and space of the rooms is much bigger and more beautiful than the images suggest. I would thoroughly recommend this property for large groups. We had four generations in our group and it was very comfortable.
Mrs Lynn
A much looked forward to family holiday staying at Nairn and it didnt disappoint. Eleven family members including 3 children and we were all catered for. We have stayed in many holiday houses and found that we didnt have enough pans or kitchen equipment, but not here. We were delighted that the cupboards were full of everything we could possibly need. All the rooms and bedrooms were tastefully presented and comfortable, and there were even childrens toys for our 4 year old grandson to play with. If I had one criticism it would be that there wasnt a tumble dryer. The utility room was equipped with washing machine, iron etc, but no dryer. I would like to say thank you for the lovely welcome pack on arrival, it was very much appreciated, we would definitely recommend Nairn to anyone wanting a fabulous house to stay in for their holiday.
Teresa
Nairn is a beautiful home. I would highly recommend this holiday home. Spacious, comfortable and well equipped house, in a beautiful quiet location. My family and I would definitely return back here, to explore this beautiful part of north Devon and enjoy the comforts of this lovely family home.
Deborah
The house and facilities were lovely and to a high standard. The house was very well equipped and incredibly spacious. Our only complaint would be the fact that the building work was literally going on at the end of the garden so workers were able to look into the garden. In addition the noise sometimes started at 5am with deliveries and normally at 7.30. We were told that work was going on at the other side of a field not at the end of the garden.
Geraldine
Returned last week from a fabulous week at Nairn. Everything was wonderful, apart from the 'only 6 rule', which couldn't be helped. The house is incredible, very spacious, well maintained & with everything provided for a great holiday for 12 people. Many great spaces for socialising, kitchen, sitting room, hot tub ... Log fire a hit as well, don't forget to get some firelighters. The pictures don't do it justice. The location is perfect, walking distance to town & a short drive to the enormous beaches at Croyd Bay, Woolacombe & Saunton Sands. Sad to leave it. Thanks for letting us enjoy your great house, hopefully we'll get back with all the family soon. Geraldine
