The house was amazing, everything that you could possibly think of needing on holiday, was there. We were a family of 8 Adults, 1 child and 2 dogs and the house was big enough that you were not living on top of each other. Perfect location for exploring. Helen, the housekeeper was phenomenal, made us feel at home, if we had any problems, which fort unately we didnt, we knew that she was only a phone call away. Our extended family found St.David's House and grounds to be spacious and extremely well appointed, and we all appreciated the added attractions of the Games Room and the Hot Tub. We were also very thankful for the 'Welcome Tray'. We found the house to be ideally located for stunning coastal and rural walks, and within relatively easy driving dista nce of plenty of visitor attractions, from Tintagel to Bideford. Bude is a relatively short journey down the rolling English drunkard made the rolling English road . that rambles round the shire.

Stunning property! Stayed there for my husbands 50th, beautiful decking area which was an absolute suntrap! Absolutely fab property , we stayed at St Davids to celebrate my husbands 60 Birthday , we were a party of 8 adults and 3 toy breed yorkshire terriers, Muffin, Elmo and Fudge. The enclosed gardens are beautiful, perfect for our dogs they loved it, just be careful near the main gate as the gaps underneath and at the side posts are big enough for sma ller dogs to fit through.Thankyou Helen for the homemade cake and apple juice a very kind thought, superb stay and we can't wait to book again !! x

Well equipped kitchen , games room very advantages when weather is bad. Only disadvantage is the situation of this lovely house , long drive to places like Padstow and Newquay . Would definitely recommend for large groups as plenty of room .

St Davids country house is a lovely large spacious house perfect for the family. Theres nothing to fault, bedrooms were large, downstairs had all the rooms and space we needed! Games room and hot tub was the icing on the cake. A couple nice local pubs, beach and shops close by!

Excellent house for large families, very well equipped , the games room and hot tub made this an excellent choice in good or bad weather. All bedrooms were excellent and 4/5 have en-suite. Very good local shop you can walk to with a park opposite, but a good 25 mins from beaches at Bude. More local coves at Duckpool and Sandymouth good for adults b ut not so good for young kids. Highly recommend this house.

We recently stayed as 4 couples, 3 infants. The property is incredible, its huge! There is so much space, the rooms are a great size. The attention to detail here is second to none. It is in a rural location, so we organised an online shop delivery to stock the cupboards. The nearest large supermarket is in Bude, 20/30mins away. However there are a number of shops in nearby Kilkhampton about 10 minutes away. The Bush Inn pub nearby is lovely and Sandymouth beach are worth a visit!
