Lovely place to stay for larger groups. Beautiful location waterfall, Dartmoor. Local to supermarkets etc. House is what youd expect from an older property but some parts were more modern than others. Plenty of space so that even at full capacity, you didnt feel on top of each other. Games room was enjoyed by the kids.

A pleasant cottage in a good location. The hot tub was very enjoyable and was used more frequently than anticipated. It had a well appointed kitchen with more than enough crockery and glassware. The only real downside is that because of the cottages thick walls Wi-Fi is only available in a small part of the cottage.

Wow what a place, 11 of us stayed here for a week, it's such a stunning house and setting. I would highly recommend a stay in the Whitelady House, it had everything you need and more, the hot tub was fantastic after a walk across the moors. Lovely people who own it too. A very large house with everything you could possibly need, comfortable and spotless. The kitchen was well equiped and the dining table great for all of us to eat together. The whole family (5 to 80 year olds) were well catered for with 2 fire places, the hot tub, croquet on the lawn, outdoor bbq and pool/table tennis in the outbuilding. Lovely wat erfall (NT property) at the bottom of the garden you can walk to. Walks on Darmoor and cycling on the old railway line were very close by.

The house is very well stocked. We had the best time and there is plenty of space for everyone to spread out. The best part for us was the location - being able to walk out into Lydford gorge to see the Whitelady waterfall was just magical and we did this several times. The site is sometimes closed if it is very windy and rainy or for tree maintena nce. The house is an ideal base to explore Dartmoor and we had a very special family holiday here. The hot tub was a bonus. Highly recommend.

The gate from the garden onto the waterfall is an added bonus! Property owner very welcoming and accommodating and pre-ordered food for the day of arrival was fantastic.
