Cosy yet generously equipped and boasting a fabulous garden complete with gorgeous views and a bubbling hot tub, it has all the trimmings for an extra special staycation. Contemporary decor and attractive furniture provide comfortable spots for cooking, eating and relaxing, whether you are whipping up a delicious meal in the elegant kitchen or curling up to watch a film. Osmington Mills is a quiet seaside hamlet 1 mile away and it’s the perfect starting point for a wild and rock-strewn walk, where you can gaze across the horizon in the direction of Weymouth. It is easy to see why this stretch of coastline was so popular for smugglers as the hidden bays and coves made it easy to transport goods and lure ships to their fate. In contrast, Weymouth 5.5 miles away is a thriving resort town with a fantastic rapport for seaside entertainment such as a sea life centre, a historic harbour and plenty of bars and bistros on the seafront.

Amazing view from the balcony! Lovely hot tub. Property was clean and beautifully presented and kitchen well stocked. Absolutely spotless apartment, well kitted out, comfy and very clean. Hot tub was great, and yeah there's a bit of road noise as this apartment is closest to it. My partner and I visited for 3 nights with our dog and had a lovely time. The location is brilliant, an easy drive to anywhere on the Dorset coast, with a great pub and chippy within a 5-minute drive. Perfect place to unwind. Top class interior and very comfy bed. Lovely view. Metal steps ok for able bodied people and no doubt fit dogs. Road is reasonably busy so if you need a window open at night, open the lounge window and the road noise shouldn't bother you. Great place to explore from.

Fantastic cottage lovely view good location just a shame about the busy main road

This cottage was perfect for a long weekend with our small dog. It was comfortable and the view was beautiful. We would visit again.

A lovely apartment, which despite the great view is also quite private. It's in a good location, just a few miles from Weymouth - a good base for touring Dorset (Ringstead Bay is very close by, my dog loved running along the beach) & Lulworth Cove/Durdle Door is also not far away. Very nice apartment, all top notch furnishings, equipment and decor with good attention to detail. Nice view from the balcony across the countryside and out to sea, our dog loved keeping his eyes on things from here. The road is busy a quite noisy but did not effect us at night with most of the windows shut. Would highly recommend.

Good location Well equipped Very helpful owners Very enjoyable stay

A lovely place to stay, very clean and tidy. The gardens are beautiful and offered a lovely little walk, which our dog really enjoyed. Amazing views too. Thank you to Halyley and & Dave for the wine and chocolates and lovely stay

We had an amazing weeks stay at the Ocean View apartment. Couldn't fault it. Beautiful view from the balcony. Very well equipped apartment. Jacuzzi very clean and well looked after. Perfect base for dog walks on the coast and only 10 min drive from Weymouth beach and harbour. Enclosed small garden perfect for our 7 month puppy. Nice grounds and gar den. There is a fast moving road but it didn't bother us. Would highly recommend. Gem, Jon, Barney
Gillian
Great accommodation, comfortable & clean. Only downside is the very noisy main road which ment it was impossible to use the balcony or leave the bifold doors open.
Michelle
The property is just lovely. We loved the hot tub, and the apartment itself is decorated and equipped to a very high standard. As previous comments, the main road is noisy and means a lack of privacy when on the balcony, but that's outweighed by the privacy of the enclosed garden and hot tub. Due to the lack of footpaths, it was a bit treacherous a t times walking our dog, but so accessible to drive to so many places like Lulworth Cove & Durdle Door, Bridport and Weymouth. Loved our holiday!
Bethany
Being quite close the the road meant there was a lot of noise but there is not much you could do about it. The bed was so comfortable and its a great location to stay with loads of places to visit that are dog friendly with in a 30 minute drive.
David
Had a great two week holiday. Great welcome and reception from the hosts. Comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen. Brilliant view from the lounge and terrace and a fantastic hot tub. Easy access to all major centres including Weymouth and Dorchester. Would thoroughly recommend. Dave and Christine Baker
Tony
Arrived earlier than advertised but was welcomed with a smile, that set the tone for a splendid 4 day break, welcomed with a bottle of wine and chocolate, perfect. So pleased, booked again.
Clive
We would recommend this property as it has all the amenities that you need for a week away. Only thing we would say that might not be good for tall people as the ceilings are sloped. Also near a main road but the traffic noise can not be heard when the doors and windows are closed.
Alan
The cottage was a very clean, warm, cosy place, with everything you need for a few days away. The view from the balcony is beautiful and the hot tub below is very private and welcoming
Abigail
Lovely place to stay, would stay again and also would recommend it to others.
Joanne
We had a lovely stay very well equipped and comfortable. Very clean. Friendly hosts. The wine and chocolate was a nice touch. Quiet location considering its on the main road.
Jacqueline
The Cottage was stunning & done to a very high standard throughout. The sofa is positioned in front of the double doors to take in the amazing view & is really cosy. Nice TV with with Netflix & Amazon Prime. The only downside was the Internet - a little Hit & Miss. The kitchen appliances were of a high standard. Nice shower in the bathroom. The Kin gside bed was really comfy. Wine & chocolate on arrival, which was a lovely thought. Hayley was very welcoming & personable. Would love to come back.
Nathan
We thoroughly enjoyed enjoyed staying here. It was spotless when we arrived, had everything we needed eg. Towels, bedding, cutlery/cookery. Lounge area was spacious with a good sized TV for the room. All appliances were modem and looked brand new. The hot tub was fantastic, warm and clean. It had a little chlorine dispenser in which was good to kno w. The garden was fully enclosed which was good for our puppy. Its situated on a main road so a little noise at night but still fantastic

Absolutely lovely stay exactly what we wanted and more ! The wine and chocolate was so nice to come in too, beach close by, amazing views from balcony made it the most relaxing weekend for our anniversary. Dog was very comfortable and enjoyed the stay. Owners very welcoming, would definitely love to come back.
Andrew
Very nice place. Hosts very welcoming. Wine and choc on arrival which was nice Nice and quiet at nite. Stargazing from private hot tub was loverly way to end day from some long hikes. Good location. Well equipped apartment. Definitely visit again Highly recommended
Sarah
The apartment is lovely with a fantastic view from the living room of the rolling hills and the sea in the distance. The chocolate and wine on arrival was a lovely surprise. The decor is modern and very clean with great facilities for cooking. There are puzzles and books to keep you entertained on a rainy day and of course a couple of lovely old pu bs nearby. The hot tub was great! The bedroom was quite warm at night so we opened the window which was a little noisy from the road.
Natasha
The Ocean View holiday cottage was absolutely stunning, Inside and out. The hosts were attentive and answered any questions we had. The hot tub was amazing and not over looked. We had the perfect relaxing stay in an immaculately clean and beautifully presented home away from home. Highly recommend!
Crystal
I cannot recommend this cottage enough. We had a very relaxing stay, the location is incredible. The owners are very thoughtful and the little touches mean a lot. Ive stayed in a lot of holiday cottages and this was the best by a mile.

Can't recommend this beautiful place enough! My husband and I had the most fantastic stay with our German Shepherd, and we can't wait to return! Beautiful scenery overlooking the hills and sea - we even managed to watch some deer in the fields while the sun was rising. The accommodation is spotlessly clean and is so well planned out, it has everyth ing you could possibly need. The bed! We just wanted to take it home, it was so comfy! The hot tub was a much welcomed treat after a day of walking!
