Guests of all ages can gather here for a stylish countryside getaway which is guaranteed to keep everyone entertained. The farmhouse, which sleeps 14 across seven bedrooms, is spacious and characterful, and has plenty to do on-site, with a skittle alley, snooker table, and private hot tub, as well as an outdoor children's play area. Taunton town centre is a 2.5-mile drive away, convenient for stocking up on supplies and spending a pleasant day out visiting the museum, going to the theatre, and grabbing a drink or bite to eat in one of the many cafes and restaurants. Enter by the side door, and step into the charming kitchen diner, with exposed wooden beams, an AGA (operational October to March inclusive), and wood burner set back into an inglenook fireplace. It's sure to be the social hub of the house, with enough room for everyone around the table, to share stories and ideas for the days ahead over a hearty home-cooked meal. Cosy down in one of the two lounges, both with soft seating to curl up on and watch TV as you relax. When it's raining, or you simply want a day at ease inside, then head for the games area, available from 10am to 10pm daily. All ages will feel the thrill of competition as they set up a snooker tournament and challenge one another to a game in the delightful antique skittle alley. After a day of excitement, and when you're ready for a good night's sleep, climb one of the staircases to bed: the first floor is split-level, and divided into two wings. Up one staircase you'll discover five bedrooms, three king-size (one with an en-suite) and two twins, as well as a bathroom and two shower rooms, so there'll be no queues for a hot soak or a bubble bath! The second staircase leads to the final two bedrooms, a king-size and a double, both with an en-suite. Once everyone is feeling refreshed and recharged from their stay, and the weather is warm, host a celebration outside. Grill a selection of treats on the BBQ and dine alfresco on the large lawn as the sun sets, followed by a dip in the hot tub.

The barn was great, so clean, well equipped and peaceful. Di the owner was really friendly and accommodating. Our dog Cassie loved the garden there were plenty of pheasants to flush out of the hedges (she is a working dog so she does not chase them).

Sue
A beautifully built and located barn. The views are amazing! Local coastal places are easily reached and local amenities in good supply. A most enjoyable stay! Would recommend.
Mary
The property was beautifully clean and the decor was tasteful and comfortable. The views from the property were spectacular and really had a positive impact on our stay as we were at home much of the time with 5 under 4s. It was an ideal location to visit a lot of old haunts we used to visit years ago. The only issue for us was the lack of a M&S fo od hall close by. Would definitely stay again but unfortunately it will be too small for our increasing family size moving forward.
Shannon

We (6 adults, 1 dog) had a wonderful stay despite it being one of the wildest weeks the UK had seen! Everything we could have wished for was there, the kitchen in particular is spectacular, beautifully finished with fantastic open views. On arrival everything was spotless and a thoughtful welcome gift was left for us. We enjoyed the hot tub, visiti ng the coast and local attractions, and eating out in the area (The Candlelight Inn and La Campagna were both highlights). Thanks for a great stay!

A fantastic 7 day stay at a beautiful and thoughtfully designed high spec modern property. Everything you could need was there on hand and we particularly enjoyed the roomy spaces inside and outside and the amazing hot tub. The property has a wonderful aspect with far reaching views across the countryside. Plenty of parking for cars with easy acces s to shops, walks and a trip to the coast. The owner was friendly and always on hand for questions or any help. You will have an amazing time!

The barn was absolutely beautiful, pictures online dont show the true beauty of the barn. It had more than enough space for 6 of us including a massive living room beautiful kitchen. Very family friendly, the hot tub was an amazing add on and had such a private plot around making it so much more relaxing. Fiona
Had a lovely holiday here. Really good size for 2 families, gorgeous views, nice and warm with the underfloor heating. Well equiped kitchen and everything was really clean. Easy to get to/find from the A303.
Teresa
Nicely laid out & decorated house, plenty space, comfortable beds and good location for getting around the area. Bathrooms very good, although the yellow spring water was a bit off putting. However our stay was marred by a few things. No mention of the mobile phone mast right next to the house, a severe fly problem ( they got everywhere including d ropping in our food) and lack of basic essentials that a property of this standard should have. Wi-fi was slow in living area, non existent elsewhere.
Lara
What an absolute gem ! Beautiful property in a stunning location. Very spacious and clean and a great base to explore the area.
