New Elm Tree Farm Reviews

Our second time at this beautifully kept cottage. Fantastic location with scenic local walks and short walk to the local pub with fabulous home cooked food. Last year 4 of us stayed and we only had positive things to say. The only slight negative with there being 5 of us this time, was that hot tub is too small to comfortably fit 5 people which was a shame, as otherwise this cottage is perfect.
Victoria
This was actually perfect. We had such a relaxing weekend, ideal for a girls catch up. We arrived in the dark so got a wonderful surprise in the morning at the stunning surroundings and views. We even had an audience of sheep when we looked out of the lounge window, it was gorgeous. Theres cottage is absolutely spotless, well equipped and very comfortable. Theres an easy walk to the local pub if you feel like it but we stayed in as we had everything we could possibly need in the cottage and a lovely clean hot tub which is always a nice extra. I cant think of a single thing that would have improved this beautiful property, we cant wait to come back. Was lovely meeting you, thank you for having us!
What a fantastic break, the cottage was perfect. Clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Hosts were great too. Lovely location, really handy for great walks, Buxton, Chatsworth house.. so much. Many thanks
Stuart
This bungalow is absolutely AMAZING and it was spotless too. Photos do not do it justice, it is very spacious inside, the hot tub was great and nice & private. Everything was really comfortable inside the bungalow. The shower over the bath was nice and powerful. Good parking at the top of the drive. We loved absolutely everything here and we will be visiting again that's for sure. Lovely views from all the windows. We only met Joanne when she was testing the hot tub and she was really lovely. The only 2 things that we would like to suggest are full length mirrors in the bedrooms near the power sockets to use whilst drying hair as I have a bad back so couldn't sit on the stool to use the dressing table mirror and a tumble dryer in the garage for the towels would be great but everything else is absolutely PERFECT. Can't say enough good things about this property and the surrounding area. We really did not want to leave this beautiful property ! Thank you
Louise
The property was perfect! Incredibly clean and it had everything to meet our needs. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend staying here.
Kirsty
Lovely cottage, clean, comfortable and very peaceful. Hot tub was lovely too.
Lauren
Beautiful cottage. Very spacious and nicely decorated. Hot tub was a huge bonus. We all enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.
Lovely, warm and comfortable cottage, with everything you need. Although a handle in the shower would enable older people to get in and out the bath more easily.
The property was absolutely brilliant. It was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The location was very quiet and peaceful and it wasn't far to travel to the places of interest. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.
We had such a wonderful stay. The cottage was immaculate clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. We loved the views and walks from the cottage. We enjoyed watching the sheep and chickens from the garden. Coming home to relax in the hot tub was such an enjoyable way to spend the evenings after adventuring all day! The house, gardens and hot tub are all excellently maintained. We wish this was our house! We will definitely be back.
Lorraine
Perfect cottage in a great location, surrounded by beautiful scenery. We absolutely loved it!
Brenda
This property is situated in a prime location for the Peak District. The bungalow is as shown on the website, well presented and immaculately clean. Would recommend a holiday here to all age groups.
Great property with everything you would need for your stay, including a hot tub with lovely open countryside views. Parking for a couple of cars on the driveway. Nicely decorated and really clean. Ideal location close to many walks and a short drive to shops. Only negative would be that when we arrived, a notice in the property said we could not use the hot tub until the following day due to it having been refilled. I would expect to be able to use the facilities for the duration of the stay. We called the owner to clarify this. The hot tub was not very warm on both days either.
We had a wonderful stay at this cottage. Lovely surrounding views. Only spent 1030 minutes travelling to places to visit, so it's really quite central for most things to visit in the peak district. No faults with cottage at all, had everything we could possibly need. Bed was comfy and the hot tub was a bonus! We'll be returning next year as we ran out of time to do all the things we wanted to do.
Stuart

Clean and quiet escape to the country. I can't fault my experience at this idyllic farm house. The house has everything you could need along with a welcome tray of teas, coffees, hot choc and jams! The hot tub was a relaxing delight in the evenings and the local area is perfect for a retreat from the hectic 247 lifestyle of the city! Thanks for everything I'm sure I'll be back!
Louise
We had a fabulous stay, the property was immaculate and kitchen well equipped. The outdoor space and hot tub was great and we enjoyed some peace and quiet in the sun! Would definitely recommend, thank you so much!
The bungalow was immaculate, comfortable and spacious we are a family of 4. A lovely rural setting making it a great place to unwind. You can see fields from every aspect of the property. The highlight was definitely the hot tub for our boys and us tbh.
Sharon
This is a lovely property, spacious, very well equipped and extremely clean and welcoming! We loved the location, with everything we did within 10 to 20 minutes drive of the property. The hot tub was an added bonus each night after a day of exploring or walking. Would highly recommend this property, alongside the lovely helpful owners.
Brilliant house, beautifully clean and immaculate. Lovely surroundings with great pub down the road. Will definitely be returning.

Lauren
We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property.
This lovely cottage was fantastic for the 5 of us that stayed. Great location for walks and great to relax in the hot tub after! Will 100 recommend!
The 4 of us had a fabulous time at the property. It was beautiful inside and out. It was spotlessly clean, spacious and cosy a real home from home. The hot tub was lovely and beautifully maintained. The location is also perfect to explore the many walks and attractions within a short distance. We will definitely be booking this again! The only thing that would have made it better, is if there had been another toiletshower room. That wouldve been an extra luxury but it is still outstanding as it is. Thank you for having us!
Richard
A lovely property. It has everything you want and is immaculately presented. It is in a fantastic quiet location but close enough for visiting the many interesting surrounding places. Thanks for a very enjoyable stay.
We had a wonderful stay here! 4 girls having a meet up for food, drink, hike and hot tub! It was perfect and would definitely recommend. Had really great Greek food at Kouros in nearby Chapel en le Frith.
Lesley

Truly amazing stay. Everything to a high standard, location fantastic. According to the entire family 'best ever'.
The property was everything we could have wished for and more. Spotless and very comfortable, bedding was of such good quality and bed very comfortable. Lounge and kitchen also great every comfort you needed. Hot tub was a great addition , such lovely views all round, peaceful, bird song and the lovely hens that visits during the day. Would thoroughly recommend this bungalow it was worth every penny.
Had a lovely time the house was beautiful and hot tub amazing, everything was as ... Had a lovely time the house was beautiful and hot tub amazing, everything was as described and we would certainly come back again thank you SO much
Andrew
We had a lovely week at New Elm Tree Farm, despite some mixed weather! It is in a lovely location in the countryside but a very short walk from a pub. Our baby daughter enjoyed watching the sheep and chickens in the field next door. The house is spacious, with all modern fittings, very well maintained and very clean. There are lots of nearby walks straight from the house, and a short drive to many interesting activities. We would thoroughly recommend staying here, and we may be back ourselves.
A spacious, clean and well equipped cottage located in a quiet Peak District village. Lovely views of the surrounding hills and farmlands. Well maintained hot tub was a joy to use. Hosts friendly and helpful. Couldn't fault it.
This cottage has everything for the perfect stay, its very well equipped and has a lovely private garden with hot tub. Its in a great location for exploring the Peak District and great for walking. No complaints and would definitely return.
Beautiful bungalow, quiet and peaceful location but convenient for walks and to visit other places. So nice to stay somewhere which looks like the pictures. The kitchen is well equipped, welcome tray is a nice idea. Plenty of nice places to eat nearby. Hope to return in the summer months to make use of the garden!
We were extremely pleased and satisfied with this cottage holiday. The owners have done a great job and we will certainly return and recommend it to our friends. Thank you for a brilliant 4 night stay.
