Excellent get away cottage. gGood location just off the A38 and with two pubs a short stroll away. There was woods for the fire and the back garden hot tub area was lovely. They even dropped us a new key off when some u tter burk, locked us out.

Absolutely stunning cottage. Everything we could possibly need. Clean and comfortable with plenty of personal extras especially for our 4 year old and little Dog. The garden is completely enclosed (weve been to places that werent honest about that). We wanted somewhere halfway between Twycross Zoo & Alton Towers with a swimming pool nearby so the l ocation was ideal, didnt expect such a loveliness place to stay. Fully recommend!

We had a wonderful week in Hope Cottage. The location was perfect for exploring the local area. There is a couple of pubs within easy walking distance and we found everyone friendly. The weather was kind to us and so we spent every evening in the hot tub and also enjoyed a couple of BBQ's. Having the garden room was a great benefit. The cottage was very well appointed although the top floor bedroom could get a little warm in the summer if the velux window was shut. A great find in Derbyshire.
Silvia
Cottage is absolutely adorable, interior design amazing! Comfortable beds and the hot tub is s bliss. Very good location for big walk we went to Carsington water, Kirk Ireton and so many more. Owners are very kind left an home made cake ( delicious)!! We will definitely come back
Linda
Fabulous property and fantastic hosts. Lovely welcome pack & cake! Really comfortable beds, decor and furnishing perfect. Great attention to detail. Dog friendly - towels, treats, outdoor hot tap (the garden is secure for dogs, but you do have to cross a communal alleyway running at back of houses before reaching this, wasnt a problem for us though ). Garden room was a great study space for our teenager and hot tub was perfect after a hilly run. Lovely local walks and community cafe in village.
Mark
