A lovely cottage in a beautiful location with good views over the valley, next to a farm with sheep & cows. The garden needs some work to make it enclosed for dogs to be let out on their own. Fantastic property, so much space, lovely bedrooms and fabulous views, particularly from the kitchen We enjoyed the hot tub (lovely towels provided) bbq and the firepit was a bonus for sitting outside, toasting marshmallows.

The cottage was extremely clean. The kitchen has everything you need and it was useful to have a second fridge/freezer in the utility for beer and wine. The bedrooms are well laid out with plenty of storage space. The cottage and its surroundings were all enclosed so no need to worry if the dog was safe. The view from the terrace and hot tub is out standing.

Beautiful clean and well equipped cottage. All rooms of good size and there is practically no traffic noise so we all slept well. The farm next door provided lots of entertainment with newborn calves, sheep, ducks and a pony. Excellent holiday.
Elizabeth
Perfect accommodation for our 4 friends holiday and two dogs. The cottage is very clean and comfortable providing everything you could need for your stay. Our two dogs loved the spacious garden, the owners have taken great care to secure the garden and have done an excellent job. There were cattle in the neighbouring field with calves and lambs whi ch entertained us more than our dogs. Would definitely recommend and we would stay again.
Paul
The bungalow was exceptionally clean and welcoming, we loved watching the cows, sheep and. the lambs in the nearby fields. There are plenty of safe walks, particularly the Tissington Trail, which we completed over a few days, starting at different points.. Lovely fresh food at The Sycamore Inn, where booking is essential. We also visited Chatsworth House and walked through the gardens with our dog. Herbert Tea Rooms in Tissington very good and the village of Hartington was also lovely.
Diane
Lovely house in great location. It was spotlessly clean, and had lovely big bedrooms and spacious Kitchen and dining area overlooking beautiful countryside. Also the garden was very secure for our dog and the hot tub was a lovely added bonus. The owners were easy to contact and very helpful. A great base to explore the Peak District . We have staye d in numerous cottages over the years and this is on a very short list of cottages we would happily re visit.
Susan
Excellent property, spotlessly clean, well equipped, very spacious, would recommend to everyone, great location also
Melanie
The owners were very accommodating when it became impossible for us to go on the day planned due to the snowfall and offered for us to travel a day later and stay a day later. Excellent communication - even sent the travel report from the local authority. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped. Also great as we had a cr awling baby with us. Hot tub was lovely - shame weather was so bad. If looking to go back to this part of the country, would definitely stay again.
Nik
Valley View is a superb holiday home, in a fantastic location. Inside it's very spacious, extremely clean, comfortable and in great condition. The log burner is lovely and the kitchen is bigger than the pictures suggest - plenty of room for our party of seven. The views are spectacular, and with the hot tub and outdoor fire place, we enjoyed them f or longer despite the February weather. Overall a great spot to access lots of local attractions and we'd love to come back!
Michelle
We had a wonderful stay. The house has exceptional views and a beautiful location. Very clean and comfortable, bright and airy. The hot tub was a lovely treat too
Carmel
Valley View is an exceptionally clean and fully equipped cottage. The games room, hot tub & wood burning stove were a very welcome treat for a frosty January weekend with friends. Fabulous walks and a great recommendation for Sunday lunch at The Sycamore in Parwich. Highly recommend a visit & thanks very much
Stephanie
The cottage is beautiful. All bathrooms are immaculate. The lounge is perfect for relaxing around the fire (which is so warm!) And the kitchen is a great social space for cooking and eating. The hot tub was a huge bonus and it was so peaceful sitting in it in the evenings staring at the stars. The location is really beautiful even though we didnt h ave the best weather, nothing can spoil the view. The owners have made the place a home from home and it have thought of everything needed.
