We had a fantastic stay! Honestly, I thought it would be quite small based on the photos, but it’s actually much bigger and really comfy. The place was spotless, warmand super cosy. The location is perfect-close to the A68 with loads of attractions like beaches, castles, waterfallsand forest walks within an hour’s drive. The scenic drives are gorgeous and pretty quiet. It's a working farm with lovely horses, sheepand friendly dogs. The hot tub under the stars was a real highlightand the owners were really nice too. We’ll definitely return!

The accommodation was cosy enough for what we neededand having a fence between us and the farm animals was a relief since it was our first farm stay. Luckily, the weather was on our side, so we explored Kielder and Otterburn easily. Being on a working farm was actually lovely-lots of horses, sheepand dogs around, which added to the charm. Honestly, it’s exactly what you see in the pictures. We’d happily stay here again and would definitely recommend it to others. A great find!

Housing the most fascinating collection of Birds of Prey in the North East this centre is definitely worth a visit if you are staying in the Kielder Water area. Located in Falstone it's easy to get to and makes a great day out for both families and couples.  As well as seeing the amazing birds you can learn all about the captive breeding programme and the excellent work being done there.  Some of the highlights of the day might include watching a Falcon stoop down from the skies at over 100mph and admiring the grace of the Eagles, Kites and Hawks.
Cragside House and Gardens - NE65 7PX
about 15 Miles
Cragside House and Gardens (National Trust) are a popular Northumberland attraction with a beautiful stately home and gorgeous grounds to explore. The rhododendron labyrinth is a unique and fun addition to the grounds and there is also an adventure playground where children can let of steam. It is the stunning scenery that attracts most of the visitors though with many bringing a picnic for a relaxing family day out. The house itself hosts exhibits which change regularly. World of the Water Wizard is currently on display.
Go Ape Northumberland - NE48 1NT
about 20 Miles
Go Ape! has really taken off and become one of the most popular attractions in the UK.  The Northumberland course is set in the stunning grounds of Matfin Hall.  Described as a high wire forest adventure this really is one for the more daring as the course takes place right up in the tree tops.  Giant tree top obstacle courses include ladders, bridges, tunnels and some of the country's best zip lines.  You will be provided with all safety equipment and training on site.
Alnwick Castle and Gardens - NE66 1NQ

Alnwick Castle and Gardens today are perhaps best known for their roles as Hogwarts in Harry Potter movies but have for many years been a family favourite attraction in Northumberland. The beautiful medieval castle is open to the public and during school holidays and at Christmas and Halloween a range of activities can be enjoyed including Santa's Workshop, a Pumpkin Parade, Spell Making Lessons and Owl and Bird of Prey Flying.
