This impressive modern lodge is one of four located in eleven acres of countryside complete with two fishing lakes and off-road parking. Providing both excellent accessibility and privacy, the lodge is ideal for families and small groups looking for a tranquil retreat in mid-Devon. Catering to visitors of all ages, the property includes a private hot tub on the outdoor decking area, coarse fishing in the lakes as well as a dog-friendly welcome. It’s immediately apparent from the exterior that this property is incredibly stylish. Modern touches permeate throughout the property and can be seen in everything from the recessed overhead lighting to the chrome piping on the living room wood burner. All features have been carefully chosen for a consistent level of chic throughout the open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area. Adding to the luxury is a floor-to-ceiling sliding door. Opening up the view of the lake, it is the ideal spot to sit at the dining table for a touch of al fresco dining. Two of the three bedrooms feature super king-size beds and an en-suite bathroom with free standing baths, with the third being a standard king-size, adjoined by an en-suite wet room with shower. When not indulging yourself in the hot tub or exploring the lakes, there is plenty to do in the surrounding area. For an afternoon exploring you can make the 7-mile journey west to the town of Tiverton for a restaurant lunch and a trip on a horse-drawn canal boat. Also super dog friendly with 11 acres of pasture/lakes for roaming. A more mow of some areas would give better view to the lovely lakes with ducks/cormorants. We had an incredible time. On arrival, the lodge was immaculate and you could already feel the quiet peace. We had everything we needed and more. The views and the lake were beautiful. It felt like a privilege to wake up to those views. Everything was provided for us to enjoy the garden.. The fishing was great although I stay here without fishing iRead mores just as good. Lodge is lovely. Hot tub was great with good views and not overlooked. Downside is that it is located on a very narrow country lane which made it hairy driving to and from when someone came the other way.

We booked three of the four lodges for our family holiday and it was a perfect location allowing the grandchildren to explore in safety whilst adults fished - successfully! and others enjoyed the hot tubs. All the facilities were excellent.

Being dog friendly is great as we have three, the hook outside for a longline is a great idea too. The lodge and it's setting is truly wonderful. Such a relaxing place to get away from it all. It's luxury accommodation, with all needs catered for. Lots of space and the hot tub is amazing. Great location, easy access to the M5 and to other parts of Devon. The lodge is comfy, clean and well equipped with fabulous views of the lake and lots of privacy. The clever siting of each lodge means you feel very secluded and the neighbouring lodges are very unobtrusive. Good facilities inside also made this a great mini break away with our frie nds.

We were blown away by the lodge and how spacious it was. The outdoor space is private, whilst being open to the most amazing views of the lake and scenery. Facilities were exceptional, the owners have thought of everything! Communication from the owner prior to visit with instructions and handbook were brilliant. We will definitely be returning and have already recommended to friends and family. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Superb stay. Very lucky with the weather. Our lodge was amazing, patio doors in every bedroom leading out on to the decking with hot tub. Facilities superb, everything you need on hand. The fishing was excellent and so convenient (I highly recommend luncheon meat and keep hold of your rod!!) Hoping we are able to return in the future.

The pictures don't do it justice :) The living area sofas are very comfy and the log burner is fantastic. Kitchen has everything you need and all works well. The room were clean and light, every ensuite was brilliant, especially the accessible wet-room - just bring your own shower seat if needed. There is level access to the main entrance and a sma ll slope has been added to the back door to allow access to deck, BBQ and hot tub. Owners were very helpful. Loved it, would definitely book again!

Fantastic place, loved it, bed was so comfy wanted to take it home, the place was spotless, very well equipped, great for dogs loads of space for them to run and play, ours loved it all 3 of them, the owner was available if you needed him but not in your face, hot tub was great used it every day, Lovely fluffy towels and plenty of them,

Beautiful location ,off the beaten track . The lodges are well presented , clean & well maintain, access is good for disabled/wheelchair users. Owner is very friendly and approachable nothing to much of a problem , great area for dogs too ours had a ball in the lakes on site and on the beach a short car drive away. This site was just what we wanted , peaceful but areas accessible for things to do & see. Highly recommend the lodges and hopefully will be returning next year.
