Cabana Lakeside Lodge 2 Reviews

Emma
We had a lovely stay at Beech Lodge, especially appreciating how accessible it was. The owner was really helpful, providing a disabled toilet seat and shower stool, making everything so much easier for us. The dog-friendly policy is a big plusand with 11 acres of fields and lakes to explore, our pup was in heaven. A few areas could do with a trim to improve the view of the ducks and cormorants, but overall, it’s a gem. The walk to Great Western Canal took about 25 minutesand the local farm shop is fantastic!
Emma
We had such a lovely stay! From the moment we arrived, the lodge was spotless and had a calming, peaceful vibe. The views of the lake were absolutely stunning - waking up to that scenery felt like a real treat. Everything we needed was there, plus some extras. The garden was perfect for relaxingand even though we didn’t fish, it looked great. Curling up by the log fire on a chilly evening was just perfect. Thanks for a wonderful stay at your lovely lodge!
Emma
We really enjoyed the lodge, especially the hot tub with its stunning views - so relaxing! The only downside was the super narrow country lane leading up to it, which made driving a bit nerve-wracking when traffic was coming the other way.
Emma
Lovely place, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, would definitely come back!

The cabin was nice and cosy, with modern amenities and a lovely bright vibe. The electric cooker was a bit finickyand the shower in the biggest room kept running hot - hard to control, unfortunately.
Emma

The lodge was spotless and thoughtfully stocked - bathrooms in every room, two fridgesand an open plan that’s great for families. The hot tub with that view was just amazing. We loved the peaceful rural spot, perfect for unwinding. The lodge’s modern design was great, especially having that extra utility room. Plenty of space for six of us, no feeling of being squished at all. Definitely recommend for a chill getaway!

We recently stayed at Beech Lodge for a family catch-up and had a really good time. The location is spot-on, with stunning views and a layout that feels spacious and warm. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms were nice and big. Even though there are four lodges, we felt quite private, thanks to the clever outside design that keeps you hidden from neighbours. The hot tub was a lovely bonusand our dogs loved exploring the nearby village and canal. Definitely recommend!
Sarah
We had a lovely, relaxing stay! The cosy and warm lodge was perfectand the log burner was a bonus. The hot tub was greatand overall, it was a very nice, bright lodge. Beds were super comfyand having our own bathrooms was fantastic. Being dog-friendly is a huge plus since we have three. The hook outside for a longline is a brilliant idea too. If you're after a relaxing break with peace and tranquillity, along with all the equipment you need, we would definitely recommend staying here!

The lodge and it's setting is truly wonderful. Such a relaxing place to get away from it all. It's luxury accommodation, with all needs catered for. Lots of space and the hot tub is amazing. We were lucky to have some clear skies on our visit and the star gazing was very enjoyable. Great place to stay with a dog. Really recommend - five star!!!
