Great house, stunning scenery
Emma
Really enjoyed our stay, the house was roomy, comfyand had all we needed.
Emma
Really nice place, super clean and lovely
Alex Turner
We loved the spacious layout and stylish decor. The owner was super friendly and easy to reach, making our stay smooth and enjoyable. Definitely a gem!
Emma
We stayed here for our honeymoon and honestly, the owner was super friendly. The house itself was spacious and quite comfy, which we appreciated. However, there was no welcome pack-some info about house rules or how to operate appliances would’ve been handy. The cleanliness was a bit off, with dirty laundry left in the machine and what looked like chewing gum stuck inside the patio doors. The games room and hot tub were lovely, but we chose this place for the sauna, which unfortunately didn’t work. Bit of a letdown!
Emma
Nice big place, great spot but the hills make walking a bit of a pain. Sauna and hot tub are perfect for unwinding, though access can be tricky.
Emma
We loved this place! Plenty of space and super cosy, perfect for a Christmas getaway. The private setting made it even more specialand the hot tub in its own shed was a real treat. Great location close to loads of spots, we’ll be back!
Emma
We really enjoyed the stay overall, but the garden could do with some improvements. The small pathway leading to the hot tub isn’t level, making it tricky for small children and those with mobility issues like us. The steep steps made it difficult for me to get in and outand I only managed to try the hot tub once, which was a bit disappointing since it’s partly in the ground. Still, lovely place!
James
The place is a little out from town, but honestly, it’s just a quick drive to the shops. We loved relaxing in the hot tub and sauna after a day out. The big TV in the lounge was a real bonus too. Perfect for our stay, really enjoyed it!
Emma
The games area was pretty awful, honestly. The cues for the pool were snappedand the air hockey didn’t run at all. Plus, it felt more like a cold, grimy garage than a fun space.
Emma
Great stay, the house was well-equipped and spotless throughout.

We stayed as two families of three and had a lovely time. The house was spotless and really well stocked with everything we needed. The kids adored the games roomand we all enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. It’s a bit out of Bideford, but walkable if you're up for some hills. Would happily come back!
Emma
We had a lovely week here! The house was perfect, really well-equipped. The only thing missing was being closer to shops and pubs for a nice evening stroll.
Alex
We loved the spaciousness of the propertyand the facilities were spot on. Parking for two cars was a real bonus. The crockery, cutleryand white goods were top-notchand the furniture felt solid. The mattresses were a bit firm at first, but we got used to it quickly. Overall, great stay!
Emma
The house was really nice and in a lovely spot, with plenty to do. The hot tub and games room definitely made it special!
Emma
The house is really lovely, with everything you'd want for a comfy stay. The hot tub and sauna are great perksand the beds are super cosy. Plus, it's just a short drive to Westward Ho beach. We had a lovely time!
Emma
Great spot, really enjoyed staying here!
Mrs. Thompson
We stayed in October 2021 with 7 adults and a little 3-month-old. The house was super comfy and had everything we needed. The hot tub was definitely a highlight for everyone!
Emma
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The house was beautifully decorated and super comfortable, especially the hot tub and sauna! There’s plenty of space, though a couple of beds felt a bit firm. The dining table was sticky, probably from a strong cleaner, which was a bit gross. Watch out in the bathrooms, the showers splash everywhere. The location’s good but at the top of a steep hill. Bideford wasn’t our favourite town, but nearby spots were better. Moran’s Thai is a must-try, fantastic food!
