We had a lovely stay at this place! The house is really luxuriousand the guided tour from the owner was friendly and helpful. Parking was never an issue, plenty of space on the drive. Everything was spotless and well stocked, from fresh flowers and a fruit bowl to milk and Prosecco, which was a lovely touch. The hot tub was amazing, especially with the outdoor H/C shower. Sitting in the conservatory in the evening was perfect. Great location for exploring North Devon with a huge sandy beach just a walk away, plus good eateries nearby. Definitely recommend!

We had such a lovely stay at the cottage! It was absolutely perfect for our family - two kids aged 10 and 12, plus Mum, Dad, Grannyand Grandpa. The place was spotless and surprisingly spacious, giving everyone enough room to unwind after busy days. The park is home to the worlds only full size animatronic Tyrannosaurus Rex as well as Lions, Wolves, Sea Lions, Meerkats and many other species, Top attractions include the amazing Sea Lion Shows, Falconry Display and Sea Lion Swims.

Exmoor Zoo is described as a "family zoo" on their website and it certainly makes a great day out for families. There are many exotic and rare animals as well as birds to see which are living in natural surroundings. Some recent improvements at the zoo include a new 5 metre tower at the cheetahs and raised walkways at the "beast". There is also a new viewing platform over the sitatunga. As well as the amazing animals to experience there are regular fun activities such as face painting, daily events and zoo trails.

The site has a wonderful Café serving home cooked meals, a fun Soft Play Area for younger children, an Agility Course for older kids and several Nature Trails for the family to explore together. The site also displays working and static exhibits of Steam Engines as well as old Fairground Rides so is educational as well as fun!
