We had a lovely stay! The house was spotlessly clean, really well stockedand the beds were super comfy. The hot tub was a real treat after long walksand Instow itself is charming, with a few great pubs and restaurants like The Boat House and The Quay where we enjoyed some nice meals and drinks. We also loved exploring the Tarka Trail and took a trip to Baggie Point Croydon & Bude for the stunning scenery. Perfect spot to relax with family!

We had a lovely stay at this place! The house is really luxuriousand the guided tour from the owner was friendly and helpful. Parking was never an issue, plenty of space on the drive. Everything was spotless and well stocked, from fresh flowers and a fruit bowl to milk and Prosecco, which was a lovely touch. The hot tub was amazing, especially with the outdoor H/C shower. Sitting in the conservatory in the evening was perfect. Great location for exploring North Devon with a huge sandy beach just a walk away, plus good eateries nearby. Definitely recommend!

We had such a lovely stay at the cottage! It was absolutely perfect for our family - two kids aged 10 and 12, plus Mum, Dad, Grannyand Grandpa. The place was spotless and surprisingly spacious, giving everyone enough room to unwind after busy days. The kitchen was well-stocked, which came in handy for baking a birthday cake for our 10-year-old. We enjoyed lots of board games and beach activitiesand the hot tub was a real treat. The owners were lovely, even leaving a birthday surprise for us. Thanks so much!

We really enjoyed our time at this lovely cottage. It’s honestly one of the best-equipped places we've stayed inand it feels like a proper home away from home. The location is great too, with Instow and other parts of Devon just a short drive. We appreciated the handy info about nearby spots, which helped us explore more. We had a lovely stay at this spacious house, which is well kitted out and in a quiet street yet just minutes from the beach and local pubs. The owner was super friendly and helpful-she even lent our kids a paddling pool during the heatwave! The welcome pack was fantasticand we loved catching the ferry to Appledore. The hot tub was a hit with everyone. Overall, a brilliant two weeksand we’d definitely recommend it!

This is a really unique attraction in the Devon region with many unique events taking place throughout the year.  The Halloween Festival in October is well planned where you can take pumpkin carving workshops, ride the ghost train and go to witches flying school.  All year round there are some excellent

North Devon Farm Park is a haven for wildlife and has a fantastic location making it the perfect place for a day out during the summertime. As well as gorgeous scenery, picnic areas and plenty of space for children to play the park offers a Play Area, Tea Room serving local produce, a Petting Zoo where little ones will love meeting the affectionate animals and Nature tTails. The Milky Way Adventure Park is a fun day out for the whole family and has rides and attractions for all ages. Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park  is a big hit with families and has a wonderful setting within 26 acres of Sub Tropical grounds. During a stroll around the site you will encounter so of the worlds most endangered animals and also take a peek back to prehistoric times when Dinosaurs roamed the earth. The park is home to the worlds only full size animatronic Tyrannosaurus Rex as well as Lions, Wolves, Sea Lions, Meerkats and many other species, Top attractions include the amazing Sea Lion Shows, Falconry Display and Sea Lion Swims.

Exmoor Zoo is described as a "family zoo" on their website and it certainly makes a great day out for families.  There are many exotic and rare animals as well as birds to see which are living in natural surroundings.  Some recent improvements at the zoo include a new 5 metre tower at the cheetahs and raised walkways at the "beast".  There is also a new viewing platform over the sitatunga.  As well as the amazing animals to experience there are regular fun activities such as face painting, daily events and zoo trails.

The site has a wonderful Café serving home cooked meals, a fun Soft Play Area for younger children, an Agility Course for older kids and several Nature Trails for the family to explore together. The site also displays working and static exhibits of Steam Engines as well as old Fairground Rides so is educational as well as fun!
