The Lodge was amazing and we loved our stay. I don't really have anything to criticise only the trees over the hot tub could do with a trim as they were hanging over the hot tub area and the glass on the decking balustrade had slipped in places I am a tradesman myself and have a keen eye this would not stop me staying again. I only mention as I can see you pride yourselves on looks and quality and I am just assisting you to keep expectations high
Had a fabulous stay thank you. Staff were friendly and helpful. Site was peaceful. Lodge had all the amenities we needed and the beds were soo comfortable.
Beautiful lodge and such a looked after site. Great stay and holiday. Were a few stains on the bedspread in main bedroom. But apart from that one of the best lodges and outlook we 've stayed in.Over the last 18yrs.

Overall it was a nice lodge, private and quiet, also reasonably clean, the onsuite bathroom shower cubical was not clean and and there was mould around the bottom of the cubical also at the bottom of the sliding doors in the track were filthy,, also the shelf in the cubicle was very rusty the hot tub was lovely but no sun loungers to relax on when you got out, the Patio furniture was in bad condition with only a couple of seat cushions which were in bad state, we did speak to reception about the condition of these and they replaced the furniture with new cushions which was good, with a few improvements this lodge could be perfect
Michelle
Would recommend nothing was too much trouble. Hot tub excellent and checked daily. Will be definitely staying here again. Pub and food on site excellent and again service was brilliant.
Roberta
Beautifully appointed, very warm and comfortable. Could have afforded to be a bit more generous with the basics such as dish soap and toilet paper and instruction leaflets. Couldn't find an instruction leaflet on the dishwasher or the washing machine. otherwise very very lovely
Pauline
This lodge was amazing! View was gorgeous and property's set out so feels very private! Hot tub maintenance guys were fab checking in on it everyday, and cleaning team do a fantastic job, everything was spotless! This was our 2nd time at this location, and 3rd stay with Sykes, we travel as a family of 4 with 3 very small dogs and have another holiday booked with sykes for the summer! Always find lodges true to description, extremely clean and reception staff phone to just check in and that all is OK. Can't recommend enough, but this last lodge definitely had the wow factor!
Have stayed at Stonerush many times and always enjoy the peaceful setting and the comfortable facilities provided in the lodges. Good communication from thoughtful staff
Pauline
The property and its surroundings are excellent. The beds extremely comfortable. Parking only for 1 car is very tight. The bushes around the parking space should be cut back a lot. This is our 3rd visit although 3 Valley View was a different lodge and much nicer than our previous one.
When we arrived we were really impressed by the property but as we unpacked we noticed that it really did need a good clean. The skirting boards were really dusty, we probably notice this more as we have a toddler so play on the floor. It felt like it needed a deep clean. The towel rails were also dusty and the toilet brushes were not pleasant. The ensuite shower also requires a deep clean. We didnt use the ensuite at all as the toilet was leaking. The towel rail also didnt work in here and the one in the main bathroom was coming away from the wall. I think the property would benefit from some maintenance. Other feedback I would like to give is that some sort of cleaning spray is provided for the kitchen and more than one tea towel. Overall we still had a fantastic stay even with the above and reception did offer to send someone to the property but by the time we had spoken to reception we were unpacked and out and about a lot. The location and site is lovely. We found the main living space to be fab and the outdoor space is also brilliant with a lovely view. The hot tub was spotless and maintained daily.

Hi we enjoyed our stay, could do with a gate to stop dogs wondering but the property was looking tired in certain rooms the main bedroom had stains on carpet and carpet was lifting at door bar also the shower needed a deeper clean along the door runs, blind broken in second room and kettle switch broken but other than that it was immaculate and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back for a third visit
Over all we had a fantastic stay and will be booking again, The only issues we had were no wifi or tv working , this was sorted with moving to another lodge for 3 days , general cleanness is something we think needs looking into ,as on closer inspection it fell below what was expected the main one being the shower which looked as though it had been overlooked for awhile and also a few cooking implements and no tea towel the velux window had no poles to open these and would have been ideal in the hot conditions . dont. let this distract from what was a great location great stay staff were brilliant in trying to sort out issues and accomadate us . we feel the icleaning inspection and hand over should be more thorough as these issues would have been picked up and its a shame to pull down what was a great week best gary
The place is lovely, there was just a lot of work being done when we stayed , so we went home a day early . But lovely friendly place
Pamela
We very much enjoyed our stay at the property which was highlighted by the hot tub which we used every evening. It was ideally located, very private and had lovely views over the rolling hills. Sally in reception was very helpful with local places to visit and was able to help us with any directions we needed. The only negative and these are very minor was we found the dishwasher still full from the last holidaymakers and the floor needed to be swept. Also the internal photos shown were not of the property, although this did not spoil our enjoyment. We would definitely book this holiday again.
Steven
Just Returned after a week at Stone Rush Lakes. Amazing Location and Lodge was fantastic. Sally and the team were Brilliant as it was my Wifes birthday whilst we were their and they even got her a card, balloons and a bottle of something to celebrate with. Would definatly return. 5 Stars. Thanks Steve & Claire.
Loved this property, great location, would highly recommend. It's bright and airy, nice comfy rooms, everything you could want as a base for exploring Cornwall. One thing which would really help is to add a gate accross either of the gaps on the deck, just would make it slightly easier to let kidsdog use the space safely.
This is our second visit to a charteroak lodge and we will be back for a third! We stayed at 3 Valley View for a week. It rained almost every day so having such a lovely place to relax was great. The hot tub was fantastic with great views of the countryside and good privacy. The lodge is well equipped for coking basic meals. There is a bathroom with a bathshower and separate shower room off of the main bedroom. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay to explore Cornwall and unwind. Ideal if you have a dog too as they can stay with you.
We had a lovely stay at stonerush lakes, so peaceful. Loved our hot tub & cabin, we will be back.
Beautiful lodge, absolutely loved our stay there.
Lovely lodge clean and modern great location
Fabulous lodge with absolutely everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Perfect. The furnishings and fittings were top quality and the whole experience exceeded our expectations. The lodge was so spacious and private. The hot tub was fantastic. We did not want to leave!
I loved the stay apart from finding out that the place was filled with mice or rats I did not enjoy it so much after that. We put away a clean plate and in the morning we went to get it and it had mouse or rat poo and wee on. We looked in other cupboards and it had mouse or rat poo in as well I have taken pictures.
We were told the day before going on holiday that we couldnt stay in the wooden lodge that we had chosen. We were apprehensive as to whether we would like the lodge youd chosen as much. However the lodge that we ended up staying in exceeded our expectations. We will definitely book with you again as we trust your company now. Many thanks.
