The cottage is actually bigger than it looks, and the decor and cleanliness was spot on. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything you needed. We loved the hot tub, was a lovely touch watching the sun go down while all warm in the tub. The grounds was perfect for our spaniel who loved running around in the countryside. The best holiday!

Lovely comfortable cottage on the outskirts of Newlyn. Very quiet. Gorgeous views and sunsets. Well equipped and beautifully decorated. On top of a hill (a very steep hill) so although the centre of Newlyn is only a 15 minute walk away be prepared for a bracing climb back. Walks from the cottage door across fields and along footpaths, bridleways an d quiet lanes. Walk to Mousehole or along the promenade to Penzance. There are so many things to see and do in this beautiful corner of Cornwall.

The most wonderful hosts, all the little touches for humans and dogs (PROPER coffee as well as milk, fresh scones with jam and clotted cream, dog treats, towels and tennis ball) upon arrival were greatly appreciated. Paradise Park first opened its doors in Cornwall in 1973 and has been one of the regions top attractions ever since. What was once just a tropical bird garden is now a refuge for many different species of animal and aims to be educational as well as fun for its visitors. The inhabitants include some typical UK creatures including Otters, and Red Squirrels as well as some more unusual and rare animals including Red Pandas. Younger children will enjoy meeting the friendly animals in the farm area. The site has recently been extended and now also has a fantastic Jungle Barn where kids can let of steam.

Land's End is one of Britain's best loved landmarks with its unique location offering breathtaking scenery and great natural splendour. The site has been developed to offer five family friendly attractions including an exhibition centre currently showing a fantastic Dr Who exhibition - a must for fans of the show. Other attractions include Scull Rock - A 4D film experience and Greeb Farm - A small animal farm which is sure to be a big hit with younger children. Inclusive tickets for all attractions are excellent value with a family of four costing just £25.00

A fantastic attraction with something for everyone. Combining rides, activities and exhibitions it's all here in the one place. Look out for seasonal events too such as the Fire in the Sky event on 27th October 2010 - discount advance tickets are available for most of the events so don't forget to check out their website. Some of the most popular thrill rides include the first Twisting Droptower in the UK called the Skyraker 001. The Hornert Rollercoaster is also not to be missed.

The Rock Gardens Caves and Nursery have an amazing setting in the old Palace Quarry. The gardens offer an abundance of trees, plants and floral displays including a very grand 80ft Elm Tree and a stunning Weeping Ash.
