We have just spent Christmas at Ty Gwennol, Elaine and Martin are the perfect hosts, friendly and welcoming. They are on hand if you need them, but not intrusive in the slightest, will do anything they can to make sure you have the best stay, its the little touches that add to the experience fire lit on arrival, basket of goodies and supplies in the kitchen. The cottage is beautiful and kept to a very high standard, its spotless. I would highly recommend staying here. The welcome pack, log fire and hot tub were great. We had a fantastic time and would definitely book again. Thankyou Elaine and Martin.
Lovely stay in the cottage which is in a very quiet location. Thanks to the lovely owners for providing everything we needed.
What a wonderful cottage and the hosts Elaine and Martin must be thanked for making our stay so enjoyable. The welcome pack, log fire and hot tub were great for our mid October stay.
Corinne
Beautiful property in tranquil surroundings. We were made very welcome by our lovely hosts. We had a fantastic time. Thank you.
Great place to stay a lovely farmhouse very clean. Fantastic garden to relax in under the gazebo highly reccomend
Thank you Martin and Elaine. Both myself and the boys had a lovely time staying at your property. Everything was perfect. Thanks.
Ty Gwennol provided a fabulous base for us to explore Anglesey with its dramatic coastline and beautiful bays. It was peaceful and relaxing in its rural setting yet only a few minutes drive to the coast and local attractions. It was the perfect size for our multi generational family holiday with room to be apart and space to be together, both indoors and out. Martin & Elaine were the perfect hosts and we particularly appreciated their local knowledge and willingness to help when we had a car problem. We hope to return to this lovely cottage and to explore more of this beautiful area

The cottage was perfect and we loved the hot tub where we enjoyed the beautiful views. WiFi was excellent very important if staying with teenagers!. We loved exploring Anglesey and Snowdonia. The owners were on hand but not obtrusive in any way. Thank you for a wonderfully relaxing break.
We had a lovely stay at Ty Gwennol. The cottage was beautifully presented and Elaine and Martin such generous and considerate hosts.

The property was fantastic, a gem tucked away in the countryside of Anglesey. Very clean and tidy no issues. Everywhere was spotless. The garden is enclosed so our dogs could roam free with no problem. The hot tub is amazing, we used it everyday. All facilities were first class. Thank you very much we will be back again.

Ty Gwennol is in a beautiful rural location which is very peaceful. Elaine and Martin, the owners, are on hand if there are any problems and are very friendly and informative of the area. The garden is one of the best secure dog friendly ones we have come across, not even our escaping springer spaniel could find a way out. The property itself is comfortable but the kitchen needs extra lighting as it is quite dark and extra cupboard space would be useful. The beds are very comfortable making for a good nights sleep. I would recommend Ty Gwennol to family and friends.
We had a fabulous stay at Ty Gwennol. Beautiful, spacious and well equipped cottage with a lovely garden. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The only thing we found was that the listing of a nearby shop and pub was not accurate and you needed to drive to get anywhere. However it is a peaceful rural location and not far to drive to nearby beaches and towns. A really lovely stay, thank you Elaine and Martin.
This is the second time we have visited Ty Gwennol and if anything the standards are even higher than the first time we visited. Everything we were looking for was catered for! Elaine and Martin are amazing hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them so you can have an amazing holiday with the knowledge you are well looked after. We have two dogs and they just love the closed in garden, the hot tub is to die for! Thanks for a great holiday Lynn,John, Mandy Marley and Dylan Dog.

We had a wonderful stay at Ty Gwennol

Beautiful cottage in a wonderful location. First time in Anglesey and we would definitely return to Ty Gwennol. Kitchen well provisioned and everything you could possibly need. Lovely finishing touches make it very welcoming. Hot tub was amazing and we used it every evening. Elaine and Martin were very friendly and helpful.
This is our 3rd stay at this lovely cottage . And each time its gets better .This time Elaine and Martin have constructed a beautiful out door eating area with a built in BBQ. This is a lovely chilling place where we were able to celebrate a lot of family good news . The cottage itself is equipped to a high standard and very comfortable . If there is anything missing the owners will do their utmost to provide. They are very welcoming and couldn't be more helpful . Its brilliant for dogs with a very secure tall fenced large garden, they had a fab time . Its an opportunity to get away from it all in the peacefulness of the beautiful Anglesey countryside. In fact we are looking at booking for next year . Thank you Elaine and Martin for a lovely family break we'll be back.
Teresa
Wonderful cottage and lovely host's. We will definitely be going back.

Another fabulous visit to Ty Gwennol! Our second stay in this beautiful cottage did not disappoint. As always, the cottage was spotlessly clean, and very welcoming. The owners, Martin and Linda, had left some delicious treats for us, including a bottle of fizz which we enjoyed in the luxurious hot tub! We were so lucky with the weather again lots of sunshine to beckon us out into the beautiful garden. The local beaches are stunning, and our dogs just loved running along the sand and having a splash! Of all the holiday cottages we've ever stayed in and we have stayed in many!, this is by far the best, as are the lovely people who own it they couldn't be more welcoming if they tried. Martin even lit our fire as we are both useless! We will be visiting again soon thanks for having us!
A great place to stay, friendly owners, good location.
What a lovely place to stay and the hosts were super lovely and helpful. Would definitely stay here again and look forward to it.
A very comfortable stay with the family to celebrate a birthday. The cottage is well positioned and very comfortable, equipped with everything you need. Thanks to the owners for the lovely welcome basket and warm hospitality.
What an amazing stay we have had. We loved every minute of Anglesey and it was just what our family needed. The location was great and we could get anywhere with in a short period of time. Martin and Elaine were amazing hosts and were on hand to help us anyway they could. We cant wait to return in June with our family! Thank you
Everything as described equipped beyond expectations. Delightful owners, excellent location.
We have had a truly wonderful stay in Anglesey, made more perfect by our hosts, Martin and Elaine. The property and location are amazing and a great location to explore the island. The cottage is beautiful and we will be coming back. X x x
Beautiful cottage in a stunning location. Garden was a fabulous size and very secure which was perfect for the children and dogs my son loved wondering around it finding the different types of fruit and the dogs loved running around the many scrubs and trees playing chase lovely and peaceful retreat ! Seems as though youre in the middle of nowhere but 5 min drive from anything youd need. Highly recommend.
Superb property in a fantastic setting owned by two lovely friendly people who did everything to make sure our stay was brilliant.
Caroline
Fantastic outside space, lovely sunny veranda, safe garden for dogs and children! and of course the hot tub. Although it is next to the owners' cottage, it is really private. Cottage had everything you could want plus extras not listed in the information, such as the dvd player and barbecue. Elaine and Martin couldn't have been more helpful or welcoming hosts. One of the best we have stayed in and we've stayed in a lot!
Patricia
A wellequipped and comfortable property, with a large garden, perfect for us and our four legged friend! The cottage was clean and wellcared for with everything we needed, and the hot tub was a bonus enjoyed by the three generations. Somewhat remote, but this gave us the peace and quiet so often denied in self catering properties. However, we were only a half mile or so away from a lovely sandy beach, and 15 min trip to shops etc. The owners, Elaine and Martin, were kind and caring, helpful in many ways, and yet left us in peace to enjoy our holiday in their lovely cottage. A family holiday to be remembered!
An amazing week in this beautiful cottage. Our first trip to Anglesey and we will definitely visit again. Martin and Elaine are wonderful hosts and very engaging without being intrusive. Our dog loved the enclosed garden and there are so many lovely walks nearby. The scones at Wavecrest cafe were huge and delicious. We ate at Catch22 dog friendly on the balcony and very tasty with excellent service. Local fish and chips great and we had drinks at the White Eagle which has lovely views . No problems at all just an extremely enjoyable holiday
I would highly recommend the Ty Gwennol property not only was the interior decorated to a high standard, comfortable and spotlessly clean the garden area was so relaxing and a pleasure to sit in with the hot tub being an added bonus. Elaine & Martin was so welcoming and gave us plenty of suggestions for places to visit. Three generations and one happy dog, all in all we had a great time and wouldn't hesitate in booking again.
Sharon
This was our second visit to Ty Gwennol and we had a fabulous week made all the better by the glorious weather. I cant recommend this property highly enough. Its in a great location, amazing garden enjoyed by our dog and grandson and the hot tub is an added bonus. Lovely comfortable cottage with everything you need. Elaine and Martin are lovely hosts and are on hand if you need anything. We will definitely be back.
Very warm welcome form Elaine and Martin, the owners of the property, which was exactly as the brochure predicted. Clean, roomy, comfortable bedding, plenty of space in the large garden. The hot tub was a welcome bonus. A very, very pleasant stay in a well resourced property. Trish and Nigel
The cottage was outstanding, spotlessly clean and comfortable. A great deal of thought has been put into the accommodation to make sure the holidaymakers are comfortable and enjoy their stay Elaine and Martin were most welcoming. The accommodations is in a very idiotic position, quiet and picturesque. We are going back next year. Great place highly recommend.
Second time here this year. And again not disappointed, went with a group of girl friends who all agreed this is a fab accommodation and couldn't fault it .Elaine and Martin couldn't have been more helpful .Even coming up with a new toothbrush when one of our group forgot hers. Its great to see they are building an alfresco dinning area which will be a fab addition. Looking forward to next years stay and I know that my friends are looking to book. Once again thanks for a great holiday
Elaine and Martin were very welcoming. We had great week at their comfortable holiday cottage with its lovely mature garden. Highly recommended.
Jagveer
We think the place was amazing. hot tub and out door private area was really really nice. and the bedrooms and living room. Internet is superfast and all the cutlery and equipment stuff in kitchen is nice to have. I think everything is perfect and only upgrade I would add is a bigger tv. However that is a minor thing as the tv works fine.
Kristen
Wow, what a fabulous find! We literally couldn't recommend this cottage highly enough. It is a stunning part of Anglesey. The cottage itself is beautifully appointed with highquality furnishings, including luxurious bedding and cushions, and very comfy sofas! Our dogs and us loved the garden so peaceful and of course the hot tub we were lucky enough to watch a lady and man blackbird travelling in and out of one of the trees feeding chicks David Attenborough would love this place! As we are huge horse fans, the added bonus of 4 beautiful horses, which we got to meet, just made it even more amazing. One of the best features of all are the owners Martin and Elaine just fab, fun and super helpful! They gave us so many recommendations of places to visit too. They work tirelessly to make this place special thank you for having us. We've rebooked already!
We we're a party of 5 adults and 2 dogs ,the cottage provided us all with plenty of space and comfort . The Dog safe area was perfect and the deer fencing made a big difference .It was beautifully clean with a very well equipped kitchen ,allowing a wide range of cooking . it was also very much appreciated that on the Sunday of our stay Martin and Elaine were very happy to allow my brother and sisters to visit to celebrate my birthday .There was plenty of room for us all .We all loved this cottage I have booked for next year already ! The only downside was that the entrance from the outside didn't look very welcoming .But this is a very minor observation .Martin and Elaine were very helpful .A wonderful holiday was had by all ,thank you for your very hospitable and comfortable cottage .looking forward to next year .
