About Stonehill Pool House

Tastefully styled and brimming with industrial flair, this striking property is situated in a beautifully rugged landscape of the Peak District. This luxurious hideaway is perfect for extended families or groups of friends holidaying with a couple of waggy tailed pals.

Wine enthusiasts can sample local blends at the elegant Holmfirth Vineyard and Restaurant (9 miles), before returning home to fire up the outdoor pizza oven for a hand baked evening meal. Formerly a pool house, this property has been brilliantly converted into a stylish homestay.

Enjoy a winding iron staircase, exposed brickwork, sharp lines, and velvet textures. Unravel outer layers in the entrance area then step along the heating floor into the light flooded handless kitchen.

Whip up some post adventure snacks and perch at the breakfast bar with a drink. Slide open the bi fold to reveal an inviting lounge/diner.

Adorn the long table with a selection of tempting dishes then retire to the plush sofas with a sweet treat. Flick through the Smart TV for some easy entertainment or try your hand at the retro style pinball machine.

Grab a bottle of bubbly and head to the opulent tiled hot tub room for an evening of pure relaxation. When night falls, pad along the hallway to find two airy king bedrooms.

Ascend the spiral staircase to discover a cosy twin with a sloped ceiling. Outside, potter in the paddock garden, curl up in the hanging egg chair, or gather beneath the pergola for freshly fired pizzas with a backdrop of Penistone.

Blow away the cobwebs with a scenic walk to Holme Moss Summit (13.5 miles) then scope out the liveliest local pub in Holmfirth (8 miles) for a post adventure pint of ale. Outdoor lovers of all ages will adore sauntering the glistening shoreline of Langsett Reservoir (3.5 miles).
