Mike
What a superb property. The owners are really friendly, helpful and considerate. The games room really is the icing on the cake if the weather turns bad. Highly recommended. We intend to book again in the future.
Sylvia
We were a group of 7 family members. Buzzard cottage was really great. It was so relaxing there. The sofas and the beds were so comfy. The owners were very welcoming and explained everything we needed to know. We used the games room a few times, we didn't mind paying 50p to use the pool table as the money goes to a local charity. The kitchen is wel l stocked with more than enough cutlery and crockery to cater for a large group. Would recommend staying here.
Deborah
Just returned from a wonderful family holiday in Buzzard Cottage, lovely enclosed garden for children and dogs, beautifully furnished with plenty of seating inside and out, very clean and great communication with the host. Family loved the hot tub, croquet and games barn. Set in a beautiful part of Devon with lovely walks and can recommend the loca l gliding, Highfield Fish Plaice (fish, pizza & chip shop) and Lakeview Manor's carvery. Plenty of on-site parking too.
Bruce
Buzzard Cottage was a really great place to stay - very tastefully and well furnished - and equipped for a family stay. The beds were very comfortable, and the owner went out of her way to be helpful. It is set in lovely E Devon countryside. Our family (14 of us aged 7 months to 76) had a great time and Buzzard Cottage worked perfectly for us.
Caroline
Lovely place to stay, great quiet location. We gad everything we needed. If you love having your dogs with you in the main lounge, this may not be the place for you. We are not dog owners, so not a problem for me. Otherwise it was a great stay and would recommend it, particulary if you were a large family party and wanted to use some if the other u nits as well
Alan
Lovely house lovely stay friendly owner. Thanks for the bottle of wine on arrival nice touch.
Jane
The house met our needs perfectly - a group of friends celebrating a birthday. The kitchen table was huge and there was plenty of seating. We made use of the hottub and games room, which were both great. There was a big area for dogs to run around (although not completely secure if you have an escape artist). Note that dogs are only allowed in the kitchen.
Janet
Great cottage with excellent facilities, perfect for a multi family group stay. Our hosts were really lovely. Great location and views.
Jessica
We had a fantastic stay at Buzzard Cottage. The property was so spacious for a large group and a dog. The kitchen had every utensil, pot and piece of crockery that you need, and the large dining table was ideal. The living room was great with lots of sofas and space for all. All the beds were really comfortable with lovely linen. The hot tub was gr eat looking up at the stars at night. Lovely location - about 35 mins from the sea, and lots of woodland walks nearby. Would definitely stay again.
Julia
