We rented Fursdon Farm to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary with our children and grandchildren 13 of us in all. This was our second stay and we werent disappointed. Beautiful scones with jam and cream , tea, coffee, milk and biscuits on arrival . Plenty of room for the 12 of us with areas available for some peace and quiet if needed. I love the fact there is plenty of kitchen equipment big enough to cook for 12. Love seeing the farm animals especially the co w and her calf. Also lots of birds on the feeders. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Fursdon Farm is a lovely old property, which has been well updated. It is ideal for families with great facilities for children, and a hot tub. There are quite a few steps in the property so not so good for anyone with mobility issues. The Coxes were very welcoming and Mr Cox showed the children the animals, which they loved. Mrs Cox brought us del icious scones, fresh from the oven, when we arrived. Go to the Duke of York in Iddesleigh, and you may even meet the author Michael Morpurgo!
Joanna
What a wonderful place to stay, with very welcoming friendly owners that couldn't do enough for us and the scones were delicious would defiantly recommend this property to large family/group of friends
Amy
Great cottage, so much room and lovely outdoor area.
Mikey
The cottage is beautiful and surrounded by picturesque views. Although a working farm the animals are quiet and were unheard until up close. The walks to the local villages were challenging at times but not impossible. You definitely earn your pint! No doubts about coming back! It was incredible and Mrs Cox was so lovely! Everything was easy and th is place is highly recommended!

Wonderful farmhouse with everything you need to have a family celebration or get together. So well equipped and comfortable. Lots of space to spread out and relax. Wood burners in 2 lounges so warm and cosy in the evenings. Cooked for 6 adults and 6 children every day and had everything we needed. Hot tub was fantastic and enjoyed by all. Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome.

This is such a special cottage, not only because it was built in the 1500s, but it's so cosy, unique, and has so many facilities on site, that we didn't even think about leaving to explore further. As well as the hot tub, there's a pool table, table footie, and ping pong. We had a very relaxed time here, I only wish we could've stayed longer.
Amanda
Had a lovely week celebrating Chriatmas New Year and a big Birthday with Family. A group of 10 adults stayed for a weekend at this lovely farmhouse. The bedrooms were spacious, clean and comfortable, a good number of bathrooms, lounges were comfortable and cosy with a log burner in each. Kitchen diner was a good size with all the equipment needed. The facilities were perfect with a hot tub, games room and play area for children (if we'd brought them). The farmhouse is on a public footpath, so great if you want to get out for a walk. Mike was very helpful and welcoming.

Just returned from a family holiday, 7 adults 4 children, at Fursden. Fabulous accommodation, clean, comfortable with loads of room. Hot tub, games room and play area were huge hits. Great welcome pack on arrival including freshly cooked scones with jam and cream. Being on a working farm the little ones amongst us enjoyed feeding the animals with M r Cox who became known as "farmer Mike". Would highly recommend and would definitely go back.

We have just enjoyed a lovely weekend at the farmhouse, the house is amazing with loads of space for everyone - we were a group of 10. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms! Mrs Cox very kindly gave us some freshly made scones when we arrived, with cream and jam also provided. The gardens are lovely and the hot tub was enjoyed by everyone at some point. We would definitely recommend this stay, a beautiful house in a beautiful location.

Lovely quirky farmhouse with plenty of room for 8 adults and 4 children. An ideal house for hide and seek. The play area and secret swing were popular. And the games room was fun on a wet afternoon. The hot tub was also very popular with the grown ups. The house is very well equipped and the welcome pack including warm scones and cream and jam was a lovely touch. It was a perfect venue for a lovely and memorable weekend with all the family.
Anna-Marie
This was the perfect place for 9 adults and two toddlers and a 5 week old baby. Everyone was so happy with the accommodation and the facilities were brilliant. Games room was a great hit as well as the hot tub and the play area for the small ones. It was very kind of 'the farmer' to let the two toddlers help feed the cows, it made their weekend. It was just what we were looking for.
Nicola
The property was beautiful and so roomy. It had everything you could possibly need. There was 8 adults and 4 young children in our party, the room layouts were perfect for us all. Hot tub, games room and kids play area kept everyone amused. Children loved the tractor ride and even got to see the sheep and goats being sheared. The bird feeder was a pleasure to watch with so many different birds visiting it. Mike and Shirley made us feel so welcome and the welcome pack and scones were fab. Thanks

Wonderful venue for a large family get together ages spanning 90 years! So much space, indoors and out. Friendly & helpful Hosts and a lovely welcome with beautiful home baked scones still warm from the oven. We stayed at the cottage in April as a large family (6 adults and 4 children) and we had an amazing time! The cottage is well equipped and absolutely huge, we barely saw/heard our children all weekend! The children loved the games room and playing hide and seek but as we were lucky with the weather they mostly played outside, they loved the secret swing and seeing all the farm animals each day. We loved the hot tub! All in all a brilliant stay and we hope to return some day!
Helen
We are a family of 11 aged between 3-64. There is enough kitchen equipment, Crockery and cutlery for everyone. There are 6 great bedrooms and 5 bathrooms essential with so many people staying there. There is also plenty of space so you can find a quiet spot if necessary. We all loved feeding the farm animals and the grandchildren even had a ride on the tractor. The games room hot tub and Childrens bikes and scooters were also an added bonus. We loved and hopefully will return.
Katrina
An amazing New year experience. Arrived to a well equipped, super clean cottage with a beautiful gift hamper and homemade scones. Two family's ranging from 87 to 15 had plenty of room to chill or gather in the large kitchen. Games barn was a hit with pool and table tennis. Goats, sheeps and abundance of birds. Very peaceful location with a hot tub to relax. Lovely walks past horse fields. Owners were excellent before and during visit. Will definitely return.
Laura
Excellent cottage, comfy, clean, well equipped, lovely showers, hot tub, wood burners, lovely hosts, what more could you ask for?! Lovely hamper with tasty treats and beautiful homemade scones were an added bonus! The only thing we noticed there werent any clocks around, but who cares what the time is anyway, lol! X
