We chose Fursdon Farm to mark our golden wedding with the kids and grandkidsand it was lovely! The place is full of charm-low beams, uneven floorsand some creaks, but that just adds to the cosy vibe. The welcome pack was a real treat, especially the scones with clotted cream and jam-delicious! It’s a warm, inviting spot that made our celebration extra special. Overall, a fantastic stay and a place we'd happily return to!

We had a fantastic stay at this charming holiday cottage! Despite having 13 of us-6 adults and 7 kids from 11 months to 13 years-we all felt plenty of space and never felt cramped. The games room was a big hit, especially during the rainy days. The hosts really went above and beyond, welcoming us with warm scones, cream, jamand other treats. Shirley even took the time to introduce us to the new born calves, calf yearlingsand Dudley the bull, which was lovely. Overall, a really lovely place to relax and enjoy!
Jessica
We stayed at this charming farmhouse and honestly, it was just what we needed. Plenty of bedrooms and having multiple bathrooms was a lifesaver with our big group. The two cosy living rooms with fires made it so relaxingand the open-plan kitchen was perfect for socialising. The hot tub was a real highlight! Beautiful location, though a car is essential as you won’t want to miss exploring around.

A lovely spot for families of all ages
Emma
We’ve been to Fursdon twice now and honestly, it’s a fantastic place for groups. Our first visit was a big girls weekend with 13 of us and even an inflatable flamingo! It’s perfect for large groups thanks to all the space. This time, I brought the grown-up kids and my parents, who appreciated having a downstairs bedroom and bathroom since mobility’s an issue. The games room was a big hit againand the hosts are really friendly. We’ll definitely return!
Jamie
We booked the farmhouse for my wife's 60th, with 13 of us including 7 adults and 6 kids. There’s plenty of space for everyone, which was great! The place is quirky and fun, with everything we needed. The hot tub was a hitand the games room came in handy when the weather turned. The owner gave us a warm welcome. It’s a bit remote, but nearby villages have nice pubs, small shopsand a takeaway. Would definitely return!

Honestly, we had a great stay at this holiday cottage. It’s massive, easily fitting 8 adults and a few kids with plenty of space to spare. The kitchen was well equippedand the utility room was a nice bonus. Both lounges were comfyand there was a good selection of games and DVDs for cosy nights in. The bedrooms and bathrooms met our expectationsand we definitely enjoyed the hot tub and pool room. Plus, those scones were a lovely touch!

Emily
This is such a charming cottage, not only because it dates back to the 1500s, but it's incredibly cosy, uniqueand has so many facilities on site, that we didn't even feel the need to venture out and explore. In addition to the hot tub, there's a pool table, table footieand ping pong. We had a wonderfully relaxed time here, I only wish we could've stayed a bit longer!
Clara
We were a group of ten celebrating a 60th birthday and honestly had a fantastic time! We didn’t want to leave and will definitely be back. There was loads of space both inside and out. The scones were absolutely delicious! We had a lovely walk through the fields to the pub in Iddesleigh. Plus, the welcome pack was great and the owners are really friendly and helpful.
Fiona
This was the ideal spot for nine adults, two toddlersand a five-week-old baby! Everyone was really pleased with the accommodationand the facilities were top-notch. The games room was a huge hit, plus the hot tub and the play area for the little ones. It was so kind of the farmer to let the two toddlers help feed the cows; it really made their weekend. It was exactly what we were looking for.
Sarah
We are a family of 11, ranging from 3 to 64 years old. There’s loads of kitchen equipment, crockeryand cutlery for everyone. The 6 great bedrooms and 5 bathrooms are a must with so many of us staying under one roof. There’s also enough space for anyone wanting a bit of peace and quiet. We all had a fab time feeding the farm animalsand the grandkids even got a ride on the tractor! The games room, hot tuband children’s bikes and scooters were such a lovely touch too. We absolutely loved it and can’t wait to come back!
Lucy
We had an amazing New Year experience! We arrived at a super clean, well equipped cottage that welcomed us with a lovely gift hamper and homemade scones. Two families, with ages from 87 to 15, had plenty of space to chill out or gather in the large kitchen. The games barn was a total hit, especially with the pool and table tennis. We loved the goats, sheepand the abundance of birds around. It was such a peaceful locationand the hot tub was perfect for relaxing after lovely walks past the horse fields. The owners were excellent both before and during our visit. We will definitely come back!
Emily
We had the most fantastic weekend getaway. The house was everything we hoped for and even better, plus the hosts were incredible. The hot tub was such a lovely touch! Would totally recommend!
