We had a wonderful stay at Church View Barn this week. The property is beautifully kept, spacious and had everything we needed during our stay. Comfy beds, plenty of wardrobe space, lovely bathrooms and a nice sized kitchen really made this a home from home. The hot tub was a fabulous extra too, we enjoyed relaxing in it after a busy day! We spent Christmas this year, its the first time we did it but it was amazing. Everything about Church View Barn is so wonderful. I was totally relaxed immediately. The normal stress leading up to Christmas I was pretty dubious. As soon as I got there all my stress was completely gone. This place is absolutely beautiful, with everything you need. Stayed here in December and had a lovely time. Brilliantly close to M5, so no hard driving to do; you're there as soon as you leave the motorway. Cosy property, with super hot tub! Taunton shopping, and lovely National Trust place close by. Shelley

Great location for the area highly recommended
Stephen

Church View Barn is a lovely place to stay. It was very clean and comfortable and extremely well equipped. The showers were hot and the hot tub was an added bonus. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this lovely property.
Peter
I was a bit worried that the nearby motorway would be noisy, despite previous reviews saying it wasn't. At home we live in a quiet village and we were pleasantly surprised that previous reviews were correct. The cottage was larger than we expected and we were very pleased with it. The Museum of Somerset at Taunton is worth visiting if you are thereRead more. Hestercombe gardens were good and we booked a Tramper buggy there for my disabled wife. Hide

Well equipped holiday home with practical furnishings and very dog friendly. Lovely countryside setting yet close to main routes for exploring the surrounding area. Dunster castle, cheddar gorge, the quantocks, etc. all under an hour's drive as well as some lovely walks closer afield. The property itself is lovely even before you even consider the added bonus of relaxing in a hot tub with a wonderful church view. We had a fantastic holiday here and really hope we can return soon.
Stephanie
We loved our stay at Church View, very clean and lots of space for the 3 of us. Every evening the hot tub was a welcome bonus, after a long day on been on our feet. We would highly recommend this beautiful quiet property. Easy access to the M5 for going South or North for adventures.
Ian
Its a lovely spacious cottage, beds comfy, shower and cooking factifies good and the hot tub provides an excellent way, to wind down for the day. Overall a lovely place to stay.
Sandra
Cottage is in an excellent location, and parking is plentiful. A little bit noisy from speeding traffic along the adjacent lane (despite the 'slow' signs!) Lack of privacy in the second bedroom due to glass doors, which might prove a problem for some.
Beata
We had a lovely week at the property. The location is great for exploring the area, just 5 minutes from the M5. The bungalow is spacious and well appointed. Comfortable beds and good showers. The hot tub is a bonus, and the view over the church from the tub is perfect. We would recommend it to anyone.
Linda
A well equipped holiday home, which was very clean, tidy and comfortable. A good central Somerset location with easy access to many locations, including Minehead, Wells, Exeter, etc.
Luisa

We had a lovely week, very relaxing and loved the hot tub at night. Angie and Mike were really helpful. Our dog enjoyed the space and the walks. Already booked for a return visit.
Allan
The layout of this cottage works very well with the bedrooms at either end of the property. The cottage itself is particularly warm with very efficient heating system, keeping the place very comfortable during some cold weather during our March visit. There are some lovely walks just outside the cottage and also within a half an hours drive. There is an added bonus of coming back to the hot tub after walking.
Toni
Had an amazing stay, great quiet location with footpaths opposite lots of outdoor space amazing views from the hot tub would definitely return
Paige

Jemma
We had a lovely time. Great location most things we wanted was 20-30 mins away. Two supermarkets within 10 mins away. Lovely garden. We took our kids they loved the big open space in garden. Odd layout inside as bedrooms are not near each other but works. Lovely kitchen island detail. Shower was great for pressure. Hot tub was lovely to have enjoye d using that. Bit tired in a couple of odd places but still a lovely property.
David
First impressions of the cottage when we arrived were wow, it was exactly as described on the website and better in person. The cottage has everything to make you feel at home and the helpful guide left by the owners with info from the local area to setting up the WiFi. The added benefit of the hot tub was the icing on the cake being able to relax away the day looking up to the church all lit up at night. I would highly recommend church view to anyone.
Linda
Lovely holiday
Christine
A really lovely peaceful cottage. Very well located just off the M5. Absolutely spotless property. We feel very relaxed after our break and have already booked to come back.
Amanda
Well equipped spacious cottage. Great location. Although this does not say wheelchair accessible we had to use a wheelchair and had no problem. We loved it and will definitely book again in the future. Highly recommended.
Gary
What a lovely week away. Lovely view of the church and at night it has lights on it, hot tub is to die for. And central to so many places. Also a great pub about 5 min drive away. Great place to unplug and unwind.
Anthony
Fantastic cottage with all mod cons. The location was perfect for exploring Somerset and Devon
Luke
This was a lovely accommodation, spacious and well equipped and probably one of the best hot tubs weve been in. It was very quiet and the amazing view of the church up on the hill, which is lit up at night , made it something a little bit different. Also easy to get to and central to a lot of lovely places to visit and plenty of places to eat out. My only regret is that we didnt stay longer. Will definitely be visiting again in the future.
Michael
Absolutely fabulous stay. Will definately want to stay there again.
Angel
Would highly recommend! The stay was better than expected, with our stay being close to Christmas we was more than please to be welcomed by Christmas lights and a decorated Christmas tree these touches made our stay that little bit more special. Will most definitely be revisiting. There was all equipment needed plus more. Great place to stay
Beverley
Fabulous quiet location and superb facilities, clean & comfortable with super view of church . Easy to get to from J26 M5. The layout is all on one level, with plenty of space & although not a disabled property catered extremely well for my 90 years young parent, with limited mobility using a walking aid and stick. Like home.from home, everything w e needed was there. The hot tub is a welcome bonus field & grounds fully enclosed and safe for our Dog, our stay was perfect. Thank you Mike and Angie
Simon
We had a perfect relaxing 3 nights away,& would recommend this fantastic home to everyone, thanks again, Simon & Lisa.
Christine
The property is well equipped and in an ideal spot for touring around the local area. Mike the owner was very helpful and we can recommend the Sunday lunch at the local golf club.
Terry
This is a really beautiful cottage and was clean and spacious. Has absolutely everything you will need for a week's stay. The beds were very comfortable and lots of wardrobe space. Showers were fantastic and water lovely and hot throughout our stay. Kitchen fully equipped if you want to stay in after a busy day exploring. The only down side for us was that it was not a stroll from a pub - it was quite a walk on country lanes and this was not ideal for us with our dog. Overall fantastic.
