I was a bit worried that the nearby motorway would be noisy, despite previous reviews saying it wasn't. At home we live in a quiet village and we were pleasantly surprised that previous reviews were correct. The cottage was larger than we expected and we were very pleased with it. Well equipped holiday home with practical furnishings and very dog friendly. Lovely countryside setting yet close to main routes for exploring the surrounding area. Dunster castle, cheddar gorge, the quantocks, etc. all under an hour's drive as well as some lovely walks closer afield. Cottage is in an excellent location, and parking is plentiful. A little bit noisy from speeding traffic along the adjacent lane (despite the 'slow' signs!) Lack of privacy in the second bedroom due to glass doors, which might prove a problem for some.

We had a lovely week at the property. The location is great for exploring the area, just 5 minutes from the M5. The bungalow is spacious and well appointed. Comfortable beds and good showers. The hot tub is a bonus, and the view over the church from the tub is perfect. We would recommend it to anyone.

The layout of this cottage works very well with the bedrooms at either end of the property. The cottage itself is particularly warm with very efficient heating system, keeping the place very comfortable during some cold weather during our March visit. There are some lovely walks just outside the cottage and also within a half an hours drive. There is an added bonus of coming back to the hot tub after walking.

We had a lovely time. Great location most things we wanted was 20-30 mins away. Two supermarkets within 10 mins away. Lovely garden. We took our kids they loved the big open space in garden. Odd layout inside as bedrooms are not near each other but works. Lovely kitchen island detail. Shower was great for pressure. Hot tub was lovely to have enjoye d using that. Bit tired in a couple of odd places but still a lovely property.
David
First impressions of the cottage when we arrived were wow, it was exactly as described on the website and better in person. The cottage has everything to make you feel at home and the helpful guide left by the owners with info from the local area to setting up the WiFi. The added benefit of the hot tub was the icing on the cake being able to relax away the day looking up to the church all lit up at night. I would highly recommend church view to anyone.
