Our stay was incredible! We had a brilliant week with friends and family. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing holiday. Every room was spacious with a big double bed and en suite. We enjoyed log fires, social dinners and time in the hot tub. We had an amazing weekend stay at the Roundhouse Mill which had a high standard of cleanliness throughout had a very well equipped kitchen that was well utilised throughout our weekend away their. The property is about 15 minutes from Barnstaple but feels like it could be an hour away because of the beautiful rural setting. My family and I will def initely be back again at some point in the near future!

Great care has been taken to maximise the views through the perfectly placed windows. The living space in very sociable and perfect for larger groups. A truly wonderful place to stay in Devon. Not often you find a house with 5 double bedrooms all with ensuites. And everything at such high quality. The moment we arrived we were greeted with the warmest of welcomes and when we opened the door to enter the barn we were completely blown away it was stunning. The attention to detail is second to none and the owners have thought of absolutely everything to make your stay so enjoyable. It is perfec t and We will definitely be back

This is a beautiful property finished to a very high standard. We had a wonderful stay, the welcome pack was really good with Bevs home made scones for a Devon tea. We were made very welcome and Bev brought some new lambs down for our grandchildren to enjoy. The property is very well equipped with everything we could possibly need. I can thoroughly recommend this property set in beautiful countryside.

Exmoor Zoo is described as a "family zoo" on their website and it certainly makes a great day out for families.  There are many exotic and rare animals as well as birds to see which are living in natural surroundings.  Some recent improvements at the zoo include a new 5 metre tower at the cheetahs and raised walkways at the "beast".  There is also a new viewing platform over the sitatunga.  As well as the amazing animals to experience there are regular fun activities such as face painting, daily events and zoo trails.
