To get to Chi Gwynn, if driving from the north, take the M5 motorway towards Exeter, then continue onto the A30 past Okehampton. Turn onto the A386 and follow signs to Bude. Alternatively, if travelling by rail, the nearest train station is Exeter St David's, from where you can hire a car or take a bus to Bude.

We really enjoyed our stay at this charming cottage. The location is spot on, close to shops and pubsand only a couple of miles from the beach. The kitchen and dining area are lovely, perfect for family meals. Having two living rooms with TVs was a bonus. The hot tub in the garden was a lovely touch and added to the relaxing vibe. Parking for three cars was handy too. Overall, a great place to unwind!

The thoughtful gift packs for us and the pups were a lovely touch. It’s in a peaceful spot but close enough to several beautiful beaches and places to explore. We loved the sleek, contemporary look of the house - super clean and well looked after. The highlight was definitely watching the Last Night of the Proms on the big TV with the Sonos speakers, it really felt like being at the Albert Hall. Big thanks to Beth for the lovely scones, creamand Prosecco!

We loved this place! The location is spot on, just a 20-minute walk into Bude along a lovely footpath, with plenty of cafes and pubs to choose from. We lucked out with the weather, so spent ages on Summerleaze beach and enjoyed the sea pool. Loads to explore nearby. Definitely planning to come back soon - it’s a gem!

We just got back and honestly, we couldn’t find a single fault with the place. The house was stunning, beautifully decorated without being over the topand there was loads of space for our group of seven plus a toddler. She loved all the room inside and out. There were some lovely little touches that made it feel extra special. We all agreed it’s one of the nicest places we’ve stayed. We’d definitely book again if we come back, no doubt about it!

Situated on the stunning Cornish Coast the Castle has a mystical and magical presence and is steeped in historical importance. Indeed the Legend of King Arthur was born right here. The Castle and grounds also provide a home for many species of wildlife as well as some amazing flora and fauna. The site also has a small visitor's centre with souvenir shop and a wonderful Beach Café.
