About Higher Hopworthy Cottage

A homely barn conversion on a working farm surrounded by peaceful countryside, only 3 miles from the attractive market town of Holsworthy. A convenient base for foodies, water sports lovers and naturalists keen to explore the Devon and Cornwall coasts, the family friendly cottage features a spacious lounge, an inviting kitchen/diner and an enclosed garden with its own hot tub.

The two storey stone barn offers bright, neatly arranged rooms that offer some charming views of the farmland outside. The front door opens into the light and spacious kitchen/diner, a practically arranged space with a large dining table at its centre.

There are two bedrooms a cosy double bedroom with patio access and a double room ideal for youngsters on the lower ground floor, down a few steps, along with a family bathroom. Stairs in the kitchen lead up into the spacious lounge with comfortable seating, lit by sunshine pouring in through its skylights.

Puzzles, games and a Wii console provide the evening entertainment. The enclosed garden features a lawn area, BBQ area and ample seating close to the highlight of the outdoor space, the hot tub.

Guests are also welcome to explore the farm s 140 acres at their leisure. The village of Pyworthy (1 mile) is handy for a meal out or a swift pint, while the village of Holsworthy (3 miles) offers a wider range of amenities.

The lively town of Bude (8 miles) is home to various beaches ideal for swimmers and sunbathers. Tamar Lakes (10 miles) is beloved by water sports lovers, walkers and fishers, while the iconic fishing village of Clovelly (20 miles) is a hotspot for foodies.
