White Cottage Retreat Reviews

Emma
We had a lovely stay here! The location is really scenic, with stunning views to enjoy. There’s plenty to explore nearby, but having a car is a must since it’s quite hilly. If you’ve got mobility issues, be warned - the path to the cottage is along a garden and involves a few steps, which can be a bit tricky. That said, the bed was super comfy, probably one of the best we’ve had in a holiday spotand the hot tub was just fantastic! Definitely recommend.

White Cottage Retreat truly stands out as our favourite holiday spot. The place is super cosy and well-stocked, especially the bed which was incredibly comfy. We loved the stunning views and relaxing in the hot tub just outside the patio doors. Gill and Colin are lovely, offering great tips on local places to explore. Even with the unpredictable weather-lots of rain and storms-we still had an amazing time and can't wait to come back!

We really enjoyed staying here! The location is fantastic, with lovely views over rooftops, gardensand even a distant sea. The place was well-equipped, making it super comfortableand having the hot tub was a real treat. The area is quite hilly, so a car is a must for us coming from flat Chichester. Plenty of charming spots nearby to explore, which made our trip even better. Would definitely recommend!

The cottage was lovely, but the dinner plates didn't fit in the dishwasher, so the spinner couldn't work properly.

The views from this property are amazing. Location is excellent, if you are ok with hills you can walk to a lot of places including Torquay and Paignton zoo. The property is very clean and comfortable. Please check with the owners of this property with regards to their restrictions of bringing your dog prior to booking to ensure this property suits your dog needs. For a couple on their own you would struggle to find a better property
