We had a fantastic stay at this gorgeous glamping pod! The lodge is super comfy, spotlessand well-equipped, making it feel like a home away from home. Sitting in the hot tub under the stars was absolutely magical. The views are truly stunningand there are plenty of scenic walks nearby to explore. Simon and Jules are lovely hosts-nothing was too much trouble. Our dog Tasha loved it too! Honestly, we didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to return!
Emma
The pods are super comfy and nestled in a peaceful spot, though there's still loads to explore nearby. The hosts were really friendly and eager to help. The place was spotless when we got there. Wish we had more time!

We really felt at home hereand Rolo loved all the fuss. The hot tub was a highlight, especially after a long walk. Definitely recommend to friends and family for a chill escape.

We had a really lovely stay. The cabin was spotless and nestled in such a gorgeous spot. It had everything we needed, though if you're visiting in summer, a fan is a must because it gets pretty warm at night. Simon was fantastic-super friendly and helpful, offering some great tips for local spots. My 12-year-old loved it and keeps saying she wants to come back every year!
Emma
Simon was genuinely friendly and made us feel right at home during our weekend stay for my birthday. The directions to get there were straightforward, which was a relief. He shared some great tips on local spots and how to get around. The place is super peaceful, even with other pods nearby, you can barely hear a thing. The weather was lovely, but I did get a bit warm overnight and wish I’d brought a fan! The pods were spotless and well kitted out. Good experience overall.
James
We really enjoyed our stay! The pod was spotless and surprisingly spacious, with lovely views to wake up to. The bed was super comfyand there were plenty of nearby walks for our dog. The only thing that was a bit of a letdown was sharing the outdoor space with four other pods - no private enclosed area. We had a dog with usand there was another in a nearby pod, so it wasn't ideal. Hope the owner sorts this out soon. Still, overall, a lovely spot!
Alex Turner

Emma

We enjoyed a nice walk into the local town for tea and only about 10 minutes' drive to visit Hadrian’s Wall sites. The hot tub was a great bonus for relaxing evenings. The owner was genuinely friendly and made us feel right at home. Definitely recommend!

We just had our first experience in a glamping pod and we absolutely loved it! The pod was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was well equipped for basic on the hob cooking. Good quality fixtures and fittings gave it a luxury feel. The surrounding walks were incredibly gorgeous. The hot tub was also a great addition. We'd definitely stay here again!

Tullie House Museum & Art Gallery - CA3 8TP
about 7 Miles
This is a museum and art gallery in one and will suit those looking for an educational and cultural day out.  You can explore the fantastic art collection including Fine Art, Decorative Art and Textiles.  If you love nature then this aspect of Tullie House will appeal. The museum holds large and important collections of zoological, botanical and geological material. And for lovers of history there is plenty to wet your appetite here. Tullie House collects a wide range of historic materials including objects, ephemera (printed material), photographs and associated information files.  We think this museum and art gallery are excellent value for money as well.
Kielder Water Bird of Prey Centre - NE48 1BT
about 18 Miles
Housing the most fascinating collection of Birds of Prey in the North East this centre is definitely worth a visit if you are staying in the Kielder Water area. Located in Falstone it's easy to get to and makes a great day out for both families and couples.  As well as seeing the amazing birds you can learn all about the captive breeding programme and the excellent work being done there.  Some of the highlights of the day might include watching a Falcon stoop down from the skies at over 100mph and admiring the grace of the Eagles, Kites and Hawks.
Lake District Wildlife Park - CA12 4RD
about 26 Miles
We love this day out in Cumbria where you're encouraged to "take a fresh look".  Some of the amazing animals you will get to see include the only Canadian Lynx in the UK and you will have the opportunity to help their Lynx Conservation Project.  The Asian Fishing Cat is also well worth a look - these cats are known for diving under the water and catching fish!  Other activities include fantastic flying displays and play areas for the little ones...
Ullswater Steamers - CA11 0US
about 29 Miles
This is an award winning Lake District attraction and they have been operating cruisers on Lake Ullswater for over 150 years.  There is no better way to explore the lakes than on water and you could even combine a cruise with a spectacular walk.  For great days out in this region then this attraction is highly recommended and will appeal to couples as well as families.  Corporate groups are also well catered for.
