We’ve just had our second stay at Heights of Winder and honestly, it’s just as lovely as the first time. Helen and Richard are such friendly hosts, always ready to answer questions or give tips about the area. We enjoyed two fantastic meals at the Black Bull in Sedbergh and the Black Swan in Ravenstonedale, both top-notch gastro pubs. We really can’t recommend this place enough and definitely plan to return for a third visit. It’s a gem!

Honestly, I was tempted to give it a terrible review just so no one else books and we get more availability, but I just can't. The place was absolutely lovely-so cosy, super cleanand in a perfect spot. The hot tub was huge and had the most incredible view. The hosts were really friendly and helpful too. It’s like a Spinal Tap amp-goes to 11! We’ll definitely be back as often as we can. Don’t steal our slots!
