Fantastic location, ideally situated for everything. Lovely hot tub and robes were a nice touch. Damp cottage so maybe some humidifiers would help. Heating however, warmed the place up lovely. Cosy, clean, warm and spacious. Comfortable beds, sofa, chairs. Disappointing welcome pack, 4 teacakes sell by day we arrived, several pots of UHT milk (nothing else). One tea towel, no oven-gloves so bought for future visitors. No toweling bathmats so floor wet/slippery. Still had fantastic time, unexpectedly dry and sunny. Many places to visit clRead moreose by. Good location for exploring the area. The Drive down to the big house was useful for dog walk and a nice to have a secure garden. Traffic noise sometimes a nuisance but it was stated in the details so we expected it. Hot tub was a nice feature.
Kirsty
A lovely cottage with great facilities with a wonderful log burner that was really appreciated on a rainy Scottish evening! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Delightful cottage, warm and cosy. Garden very safe for pets but close to quite a busy road once the gate is open.

Delightful cottage, warm and cosy. Garden very safe for pets but close to quite a busy road once the gate is open.
William
The cottage was ideal for touring South Ayrshire and only a 15 min drive from Dumfries House which is a must visit. The road is a busy shortcut across country but a high wall and fencing keeps the garden secure for pets. A pity that the landowner of the estate does not encourage visitors with appropriate signage but loads to visit all around
Thomas
Don't hesitate to call for help if you need it. We had great service when some lights failed.
Sarah

Rosie

We loved our stay at Cob cottage. Such a lovely location and the cottage was perfect. Very dog friendly with a lovely big garden to run around in. Owners obviously really think about what maybe needed during the stay which made it even better :) Having the hot tub ready to jump into after a long journey up was very much appreciated! We would love t o come and stay again. We were sad to leave.
Emma
Absolutely amazing and perfect for the dogs too
Fiona
Good location for visiting places of interest and walking sections of the river Ayr pathway. Dean Castle, Kilmarnock, worth visiting for significant collection of musical instruments and armour. Dumfries House and grounds should not be missed. Plenty of interest for fans of Scotlands great poet, Robert Burns.
Maria
Had a lovely weekend at the property but there was no internet access as listed. The hot tub was broken although we were allowed to use another on the estate. I had elderly parents with me and they found the property cold at this time of year. Even after heating the rooms cooled down quickly. Road can be busy and noisy. We still enjoyed our me stay .
