This is the second year we have spent at Exmoor Retreat and it did not disappoint again. We had hampers for ourselves and dogs on arrival. Perfection! The welcome from Rachel, the amazing hamper, the comfort, cleanliness and equipment of the cottage, all were outstanding. We slept wonderfully due to the very comfortable beds and probably the gorgeous Exmoor air, and the cottage is well-situated for travelling to the coast and other attractions. Although the property slept 8 and we wer e only 2, it felt cosy. Such a peaceful setting and viewing the stars from the patio was mind-blowing - no wonder Exmoor is a dark-sky area!

This is a lovely cosy, well equipped cottage with stunning views. It's in a great location to be able to explore Exmoor but it's just as nice to stay and relax too. Our teenage son loved the hot tub and super large TV! Lovely local treats awaiting on arrival too, would definitely recommend and hope to go back in the near future

We had a great week in Exmoor Retreat. A really comfortable cottage, well appointed and what a bonus to have underfloor heating powered by an air source heat pump. We were a group of 6 adults and 2 young children and the cottage was brilliant. Great location too. The owners are on hand ready to help if needed but otherwise unobtrusive.

Gorgeous house and lovely host. Very spacious and comfortable beds, and great to have a smart TV in every bedroom. The welcome basket of Devon treats was a lovely touch. Thank you for a wonderful holiday!
