High Meadows Barn Reviews

"Simply the Best" We stay in lots of locations around the UK but this house has to be rated as the very best experience we have ever had. Location = super, views = delightful and the house was spotless and luxurious. One of the best stocked kitchens I've had the pleasure of using - thank you. The added bonus though was that the owners were just theRead more most helpful people and managed that careful balance between being there enough to help when needed without being intrusive. Thank you both so much Hide

Chris
Really smart property, biggest hot tub weve ever had, the whole place is outstanding, a little remote but that also makes this place so special. The owners are very responsive. We will certainly look at going again. The garden is very private and contained so our pooch could walk freely and we had peace of mind. Its certainly worth spending the extRead morera as you get soo much more. Hide

We had the best week staying at High Meadows. Adam and Helen were the best hosts, always on hand for any questions or recommendations. The house was perfect for the 7 of us staying and such a wonderful standard. A perfect location for exploring the wonderful beaches and area. We have recently spent at week at High Meadows Barn and had such a lovely holiday. The barn was absolutely perfect, it was clean, well equipped and in a fantastic location. It's a beautiful place to stay. Adam the owner was amazing!! he greeted us on our arrival with a much needed alcoholic drink and was always helpful and on hand if we needed him. He even came and rescued our barbecue! We all can't recommend this property enough as a beautiful place to stay.and we hope to return next year.
Sonia
The barn, Adam, Helen and the location formed a perfect combination for us to enjoy a weeks family holiday. Its a quiet, remote rural position ideally conducive to relax and enjoy our break. The narrow, surrounding roads are quiet and fine for an enjoyable walk, run or doggy walk. Its close enough however to Newquay or quaint country pubs to involv e yourself in real life if so desired. We had the most wonderful of times and wanted for nothing, the hosts ever eager to please.
Angela
Our stay here was the best holiday we have had in this country and we will be booking again for next yr. We arranged a shopping delivery which Adam and Helen kindly put away for us. They couldn't do enough for us. They showed us around the property and recommended all the best places to visit. The Barn was amazing and done to a very high level. Eve rything was just perfect. At night you get an amazing view of the sunset. Enjoyed even more so in the amazing hot tub. Totally recommend very highly.
Victoria
The place was really lovely and you could easily relax in its surroundings. The sunsets were our favourite thing! They were amazing. The owners were lovely and friendly too!
Andrew
A truely 5 star property experience that was made even better with the hot tub to relax in after a day at the beach. Adam and Helen made the whole experience fantastic with suggestions on what to do in the area....a great help as from the other side of the country. Will definately return.
Amy
High Meadows Barn was perfect for our family holiday. The property was extremely clean and comfortable. It was very tastefully decorated with a homely feel. The garden was amazing, with plenty of space for the children to play as well as the wonderful hot tub which was kept in tip-top condition by Adam. Adam and Helen are fantastic hosts who really go the extra mile. They are friendly and extremely helpful. We will not hesitate in booking again in the future.
Huanbo
Great location with facilities thoughtful arranged . Adam and Helen are amazing! From pre arrival arrangement to goodbye chat, from local recommendations to the name behind it. All you will have is more than a relaxing holiday. Already recommended to friends and will recommend this fantastic place to everyone! Well done Adam and Helen

A fantastic property furnished and equiped to a very high standard. The inside of the property, the gardens and the hot tub were all spotless on arrival, the owners, Adam & Helen met us to hand over the keys and to show us around the property, we were all (dogs included) made to feel very welcome, throughout our stay they were both so friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. We would definitely return another year.
Maurice
A truly amazing place - we will definitely be back. We went on some wonderful walks in the mornings and chilled on the sun terrace and in the garden in the afternoons. The jacuzzi is wondeful too and Adam keeps it in tip top condition
Ian
Fabulous cottage in a great location. We really enjoyed our holiday and would highly recommend the property to everyone. It is a great base for exploring Cornwall and what better when you return home at night than to spend some time unwinding in the hot tub.
Stuart
Lovely property and location. Hot tub a delight. Adam the owner next door couldnt be more helpful. Was happy to take in and put away an online supermarket delivery the day we were arriving. Makes such a difference after a long drive knowing you havent got to out again the day you arrive.
Bryony
High Meadow Barn was well above our expectations. Adam and Helen was on hand even before our holiday had started, answering any queries we had. The accommodation itself was AMAZING! Very clean and had everything we needed, plus more. Adam and Helen were extremely helpful with providing information on what we could do in Cornwall. I would highly rec comend this holiday home, we would be back in a heartbeat if we were to visit Cornwall again.
Nick
We had the perfect holiday at high meadow barns. The hosts were amazing and had plenty of knowledge of the area for us. The cottage is situated perfectly between 2 of the best beaches in Cornwall, a 5 minute drive to both. The cottage was immaculate, had everything we needed and provided us with an excellent holiday, we will definitely be returning .
Rebecca
We had a fantastic stay at High Meadows Barn during October. The barn was beautifully presented with everything we needed and in immaculate condition. The hottub was so lovely to have, particularly in such beautiful surroundings. The barn was a short drive to the centre of Newquay, with supermarkets just 5 minute drive away. Adam was extremely help ful and friendly, giving us all the information we needed. We throughly enjoyed our stay and made such lovely memories. Thank you Adam & Helen x
Paul
The cottage went beyond our expectations and catered perfectly for our stay in Newquay. Beautifully constructed, very tastefully decorated, extremely well equipped with everything needed (and more), we were sad to leave! Our hosts were welcoming, and very helpful with advice of where to go, what to do whenever we asked, but equally respected our pr ivacy during the week. Our dogs were very happy in the garden, plenty of space to run around whilst we lounged in the hot tub! Highly recommended
Amanda
We had an amazing time in this modern, very well appointed cottage with all amenities you could need. The owners (Adam & Helen) live next door and advice/help was always on hand if you needed it. It was so clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. A car is definitely needed, approach roads are very narrow and not walkable, but it is only a few m inutes drive from the most beautiful Cornish beaches. We always got parked up even at the beginning of September. We would definitely return here!
