We absolutely loved the pods! Having just two on-site made it feel super private and secluded, exactly what we wanted. It’s not just a dome - it’s more like a cosy cabin, really roomy and inviting. The owners were so helpful, giving us all the info we needed and being available for questions. Definitely a place we'd come back to, highly recommend!
Emma
We recently spent a weekend at the Kingfisher and honestly, it was just what we needed. The place was lovely, super cosyand the hot tub was definitely a highlight! When we arrived, the owners greeted us with chocolates and a bottle of prosecco - such a thoughtful touch. If you fancy a good lunch, Pesto at the Peacock serves fantastic Italian tapas, about a 10-minute walk away. On the day we left, there was deep snow, but the owners went above and beyond by helping us dig out our car. Absolutely fantastic stay, we’d definitely return!
Jamie Carter
We stayed here over the weekendand honestly, it was just what we needed - a proper chill out. Victoria was lovely and even let us check in a bit earlier, which was a real bonus. The cabin warmed up quicklyand the hot tub was amazing, especially sitting in 40-degree water while it was freezing outside! The only tiny gripe is the mattress, a bit too firm for us, but overall, no complaints. It’s a great spot for a quiet escapeand we’ll definitely be coming back!
Emma
We had a fantastic stay! Finding the pods was a breeze thanks to clear directionsand the place was beautifully decorated with all the amenities we needed-especially the hot tub, which was perfect after a day of exploring. The hosts were really friendly and helpful, sharing plenty of tips. The vegan-friendly Prosecco and chocolates on arrival were a lovely surprise. We enjoyed walking around the area and relaxing in the hot tub under the stars. Definitely hope to return soon, thanks so much!
