Beautiful cottage
Rebecca
The property is ideally situated to explore the Peak District. The property is immaculate and well equipped, and the garden is perfect for the dogs. We would love to come and stay again.
Caroline
A beautiful haven in Derbyshire ! We had a gorgeous time. The cottage is perfect & very homely.
David
Really nicely appointed cottage and perfect for couples or a small family, and great that it's dog friendly. The hot tub is a great asset and the pub being so local was really handy. A couple of small issues, but the hosts live on-site and were really helpful in terms of sorting things out
David
Fantastic cottage, 2nd time staying - will be a 3rd in future for sure.
Peter
A lovely cottage, clean and very well equipped. But, whilst the garden is enclosed, it is NOT secure. Add to that busy roads very close by and we could not allow our dogs out in the garden unsupervised.
Jo
Really good little cottage, very comfortable and well stocked utensil-wise. Very warm and cosy, nicely decorated. Fantastic location. Great for dog walks right from the cottage. Short drive away from Bakewell and other interesting towns and villages.
Mark
We enjoyed a great week at Robin Hood cottage. The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The back garden is large and not over looked, great for the dog!! and the hot tub is perfect to relax in after a good walk. The Robin Hood pub is only next door and they serve good food if you don't want to cook, it is also dog friendly. The o wners are very nice people and run a B&B next door. Excellent breakfast available for delivery to your table. We plan to return in the future.
Anna
A wonderful cottage, a home from home, very well equiped kitchen, clean and comfortable, great hot tub, the location is perfect for gorgeous long walks, close to restaurants, lots to see and do. We loved it! Tips for dog owners. The gated fence to the garden from the car park had to be secured with a garden chair to stop our staffy crosses getting out, one of our dogs also managed to get on the stone shed roof from the garden, be mindful if you have bigger, stronger dogs, small dogs would be ok
Linda
A very cosy and well equipped cottage. Walks from the doorstep up onto the edges or over to Chatsworth. Would thoroughly recommend.
Catherine
Positives were great hot tub, really comfy beds, plenty of towels, well stocked kitchen, bathroom products were a nice touch, plenty of hot water, nicely decorated, online guidebook to the cottage and local activity leaflets provided, taxi numbers provided and a good selection of DVD's. The negatives are that the internet access is poor, the cottag e could have been cleaner as there were spider webs everywhere and a dirty BBQ and oven trays and only a very small fridge provided.
Arthur
A very pleasant and conveniently located place to stay. We received a very warm welcome and thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.
jo
Lovely little find, perfect for a family and dog friendly too :-) Comfy beds brill hot tub - no aches after 5hr hike friendly owners, if needed great self help app 1 parking space for the cottage great pub next door over the car park and walks from the front door great equipped kitchen was nice and warm so didnt use the log burner its a shared bath room - so family or v good friends :-)
Samantha
Super clean, well equipped cottage, with comfy beds that was perfect just to relax. Great location to visit Chatsworth, Bakewell, monsal trail etc and lovely walks from the doorstep. Can recommend the Prince of Wales in Baslow for a nice meal, we went twice in a week it was so good! It is quite close to a main road but it really isn't noticeable. L ovely location to escape to and obviously the hot tub is a lovely bonus after a walk.
Gillian
This time a large serving spoon would be useful. And maybe 4 more cups/mugs.
Haylie
The cottage was extremely comfortable for four people, fully equipped and an excellent private hot tub. The proximity to loads of fabulous walks as well as brilliant pubs made a an first class choice for a break. We would love to return.
Jade
We had a lovely week away, the accommodation catered perfectly for our group of four. Plenty of pubs and walks that are easily accessible from the house. The cottage itself was really cosy, the hot tub was warm on arrival and the kitchen was well stocked with equipment if you're self-catering. Quite close to the main road but quiet enough at night that it didn't disturb us. Would happily stay again.
