The accommodation and location are both superb. The upside down house has everything you need (including the added bonus of a hot tub, enclosed garden and indoor pool/table tennis table) to have a brilliant holiday. The location is perfect as it is a short walk from the beach and local amenities and the view from the balcony (over the cricket pitch and towards the sea) is stunning . The host is friendly and welcoming and provides a thoughtful and much appreciated welcome pack.

Brilliant accomodation, location was fantastic just minutes from the beach and not far from shops and restaurants. Nice private corner plot with great views from upstairs across to the sea. House had everything you could need and more with 3 good sized bedrooms, jacuzi and pool table which we used a number of times and was good fun Enclosed garden was a big bonus meaning the dog wasn't house bound constantly. The house is in a good position overlooking the cricket field and has a lovely terrace which gets the sun most of the day. It is close to all amenities and a short walk to a beautiful beach. We enjoyed Clovelly , the RHS in Rosemoor and the stunning woolacombe beach all a short distance away by car.

Communication with the owner was excellent before and during our stay. We have stayed in Westward Ho! a number of times and thoroughly enjoyed our week here. Our stay was perfect. The house is lovely and clean, modern and comfortable with everything you could need for your stay. We stayed during storm Arwen, but the pool table and ping pong table led to hours of indoor fun. On calmer days we walked the short walk to the beach and enjoyed the lovely hot tub. It really was a lovely stay with very attentiv e hosts.

Great location for visiting North Devon. House is very comfortable and well appointed. Hot tub was great as well. Well situated in Westward Ho - just out of the centre but close enough to walk to all the bars and restaurants. Sue was extremely helpful and the welcome pack was much appreciated. Exmoor Zoo is described as a "family zoo" on their website and it certainly makes a great day out for families. There are many exotic and rare animals as well as birds to see which are living in natural surroundings. Some recent improvements at the zoo include a new 5 metre tower at the cheetahs and raised walkways at the "beast". There is also a new viewing platform over the sitatunga. As well as the amazing animals to experience there are regular fun activities such as face painting, daily events and zoo trails.
