Come and experience a getaway like no other at Claire's Cottage - where adventure meets tranquility in the stunning landscape of North Wales. The cottage boasts an open-plan living space, Smart TV, and enclosed courtyard with hot tub - with private driveway parking for two cars.

The open-plan living space welcomes you home after a successful day exploring the Welsh countryside. Kick up your well-trekked feet in the sitting area, before whipping up a scrumptious supper in the kitchen space, equipped with all you need to satisfy that hard-earned appetite.

Dig in at a dining table for four or, when the sun follows you home, why not enjoy your meal alfresco in the enclosed courtyard? When the evening chill begins to nip, toss your plates to the dishwasher and hop in the hot tub for a warm, bubbling massage.

Rinse off in the bathroom while the washer/dryer takes care of your laundry, then settle into the sofa with a film on the Smart TV, before inviting the night in one of two super-king-size beds (zip/link, can be twin on request) eager to embrace you to sleep. Penrhyn Castle is a neo-Norman castle is located in the stunning Gwynedd region of Wales. The castle will appeal to those who enjoy sites of historical interest as well as to families looking to enjoy a fun day out. The Castle is in very good condition and guided tours are on offer. Don't miss a look at the grand hall with its exquisite collection of paintings or the Victorian Kitchen which gives amazing insight into the running of the Castle. Other highlights include the Servants Rooms and the one ton slate bed which was originally made for Queen Victoria.

Located in the North of Wales with a spectacular setting high above Colwyn Bay this is a lovely zoo which makes an excellent family day out.  Highlights include the Chimp Encounter, Penguin Parades, Bear Falls and the Children's Farm.  The setting is perfect for walking around and you can take in the superb scenery, roam the wooded pathways and relax on the grassy slopes.  There are many rare and endangered species to see and learn about including the Snow Leopards and the Red Pandas not to mention the Sumatran Tigers. You can also buy the experience of being a zoo keeper for a day, either for yourself or as a gift.
