Lovely place for an Easter family meet-up. Lots of activities in the area for the 4 children, age 3 to 7. Chase Cafe next door highly recommended. We have just returned from a fantastic weekend stay in Holloway. The house was perfect for what we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and the dining room was a beautiful room for our celebratory meals. Plenty of room for a large group gathering as well as places for small groups to spend time together. Would highly recommend.

Lovely, comfortable and homely large house. Bedrooms were a good size, the kitchen contained everything you would need and more. The games room is a wonderful addition and was well used. Views were amazing, even in Winter. It was decorated for Christmas which was a nice touch. I would highly recommend a stay here.

We had a great holiday in this lovely, spacious house. The rooms are large and the views are great. It was also really good to have a little cafe right next door, and a fantastic butcher a few doors along.
Paula
We had an amazing week in this property, it was spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. My grandson loved running from room to room. The Chase cafe next door and Robin Maycocks butchers were very welcoming. Many attractions close by, the Heights of Abraham and Chatsworth house are a must. We had a great week.
Joyce
Three generations celebrated my 70th and what a fantastic time we had I couldn't have wished for anything more. The house was amazing and we all said we would definitely come back. The pool room kept 3 teenagers entertained for hours as well as the adults. There was plenty of space for all of us and having 3 bathrooms was a big plus. We would recom mend Chase cafe next door for breakfast and takeaways and also the butchers down the road. This is probably the most relaxing place we've been to.
Jan
This is a great space for large groups, perhaps a couple of families. There is lots of room so your not on top of each other and the games room is a welcome addition. I liked the layout and it was homely and comfortable.

An absolute beautiful property that is well equipped, clean & comfortable, with the most comfy beds ever! The owners were super helpful & went out of their way for us. We went on a very cold weekend, but the property was very warm & the fireplace was perfect. Would highly recommend & would love to return one day.
Margaret
Beautiful house with fantastic views, spotlessly clean and well stocked with everything we needed for a family group of 10. nice garden area for the children to play in or just to sit and relax and seperate patio area with BBQ. Really well located for lots of activities and walks. Lovely cafe next door and great butchers 2 minutes walk away that al so sells milk, veg etc. Slight problem with one of the showers, rang the owner who was extremely helpful and dealt with the problem very promptly.
Susan
Truely grand and beautifully presented home from home. Stunning views top quality bedding, towels and characterful furniture. Lovely sun trap rear garden and grounds super maintained. Cushions, deckchairs, seating areas pool table kept us happy. Lovely cafe itothe front and quality butcher/local fresh stores close by. There is a small business with in the grounds where clients pull up hourly, but didn't bother us much. Also flat above bedrooms was unexpected. Noise was heard eearly mornings.
Amy
My friends and I all had a wonderful time at Holloway House. It's spacious yet cosy and just gorgeous throughout. The outside space is equally lovely. The surrounding countryside is stunning and perfect for walks. We had everything we could want and need for our stay and we would love to return next year. Clint and Sue were always quick to respond with any questions, were accommodating and very friendly in their correspondence. Thank you so much for out fantastic stay!
Deborah
Lovely, peaceful, homely and spacious house which we enjoyed for a second visit. Walking into it felt like coming home. Plenty of space that the 7 of us didn't feel on top of each other. Great location if you have a car (although we were unlucky that the local road was closed so had to do a longer detour when heading north). Fabulous local butcher a 2min walk, and they sell other essentials too (milk and cake!)
Margaret
Very spacious, well equipped house. Really well renovated and we loved the layout. Perfect for our 2 families to get together. The pool table kept the kids (and adults) occupied! Our weather was disappointing so we didn't manage to get use of the gardens, but loved the open fire after a cold and damp day exploring! Good base for exploring - we did Alton Towers, Bakewell, Chatsworth House, Kedleston Hall and Buxton, as well as wandering in Matlock itself.
Lucy
We cant recommend this place enough. It was beautiful throughout with stunning views. From the minute we arrived everyone was already planning our next trip. Great walking from the doorstep. Idyllic setting. Very well equipped kitchen and lovely rooms and bathrooms. Great games room too! A total gem - we will be back!
Lynne
This is a lovely house, that the owners have tastefully renovated to a high standard. It provides ample space for a family of 10 with 2 small babies. The setting in the South of the Peak District is ideal for exploring this lovely area.
Madeleine
Had a fantastic two day stay with family. Beautiful, comfortable and spacious house in a lovely location. Would definitely stay again!
Annalisa
The Cafe next door is closed permanently, we drove up there a bit earlier hoping to have some lunch before checking in etc to find it was closed for good. We had a wonderful time, lots of things to do within the area, this was a good base to discover the local area. House very well equipped for cooking. Enjoyed by the whole family 4weeks to 70 year s. Games room perfect as the kids took themselves off to play, also house is very good for hide and seek. Lovely weekend away.
JANE
Really lovely house in a super location. Beautiful views. The house is very well equipped and the bedrooms are spacious and the beds very comfortable. There are toys and games for the children. The open fire was a real treat. It's a beautiful part of the UK with lots of great pubs and tourists sites quite close.
Judith
