From the moment we arrived, Jenny and Malcolm made us feel so welcome, offering all the info we needed. The cottage was perfect for our group - 5 adults, a childand 2 dogs, with plenty of space to spare. The view of the pond and fields was just lovely and so calming. We loved relaxing in the hot tub and hanging out in the games room. Jenny’s home-baked scones midweek were a lovely touch. Definitely recommending this place to friends!

We recently stayed at Lamerton Barn with a group of seven adults, a toddlerand our dog. The place was perfect for us - really spacious and totally safe for the little one since there was nothing fragile within reach. We loved the hot tub and spent ages in the games room. The enclosed garden was great for the toddler and dog to run around freelyand the extended garden with the lake was a lovely spot for walks and enjoying the views. The owners were super friendly and even treated us to a lovely cream tea - really made our stay special!

Despite the terrible weather, we really enjoyed our stay. The house was super spacious, cosyand kept us warm throughout. There was plenty of storage for all our fishing gear and wet clothes, which was handy. The owners were lovely and made us feel welcome. We loved relaxing in the hot tub-it was spotless and thoughtfully designed. We had planned to try the games room, but the weather was just too cold outside, so we stayed in. The views were stunning, though it was a shame we couldn’t sit outside at the table because of the rain!
Emma
The place was beautifully quiet and spotless, with super comfy beds. Everyone loved the cream tea-absolutely delicious! We’d definitely recommend staying here, it was lovely.

We had such a lovely stay at the Pipers' place! The farmhouse was surprisingly spacious, perfect for our group of five adults and two dogs. Everything was spotless and really comfy - the secure yard and nearby field were a big hit with the dogs, they loved running around. The jacuzzi was definitely a highlight; our daughter said it was the best she's ever used! Mrs Piper surprised us midweek with fresh scones, clotted creamand jam, which was a lovely touch. Only thing is, no footpath to the pub, so walking isn’t an option. Still, we’d happily return!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The place was super cosy and perfect for just relaxing and binge-watching Netflix. The space inside is generous and well kitted out, making it feel really homely. The owners are incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome - even dropping off fresh scones with cream and jam midweek, which was a lovely touch. Our dogs loved running around the secure fenced gardenand the games room was a nice bonus, even if we didn’t get round to trying the hot tub. Definitely recommend!

We had such a lovely stay! The house was spacious, really comfyand in a beautiful spot. The hot tub and games room were definitely highlights for us. Our little dog adored it, though she managed to squeeze under part of the fence, so we had to be careful. We didn’t fish, so didn’t use the pond, but it looked nice. The owners were super friendly and even brought us fresh scones on a rainy day-such a nice touch! Would definitely come back.
