We had a really lovely stay at this cosy cottage. It was spotless and had everything we needed, including a well-maintained kitchen and comfy beds. The highlight was definitely the pool and jacuzzi, both kept at a perfect temperature. We got lucky and had the pool all to ourselves in the mornings, which was a real treat! The staff were super friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome. Despite the rainy weather, it was a great spot to relax. Definitely planning to come back, especially in this season!

We loved the peaceful vibe of this place, honestly. The location’s stunningand it was a shame to leave the calm surroundings, especially with our dog. We mainly stuck to the field for walks and visited nearby beaches-they were perfect for relaxing. Our accommodation was cosy and spacious, which we really appreciated. The pool and sauna were a real treat after long walks. Charlotte was a fantastic host, always available if we needed anything. Overall, a lovely spot to unwind and recharge.

Meeting the pony, donkeysand dog was a highlight. The stair gate and high chair made things much easier with the babyand we’d definitely come back for another visit!

The onsite facilities are pretty good-kids especially enjoyed the pool and games roomand they mostly had them to themselves. The location is just right-peaceful but close enough to explore North Devon’s sights easily. Would definitely suggest it!

We really enjoyed our stay here, even with Storm Eunice raging outside! The owner Charlotte was super helpful, making sure we were comfortable, especially when the power briefly went out on our last day - they provided heaters which was a lifesaver. The cottage and pool were spotlessand the welcome pack with wine was a lovely touch. We’ll definitely return!

Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park  is a big hit with families and has a wonderful setting within 26 acres of Sub Tropical grounds. During a stroll around the site you will encounter so of the worlds most endangered animals and also take a peek back to prehistoric times when Dinosaurs roamed the earth. The park is home to the worlds only full size animatronic Tyrannosaurus Rex as well as Lions, Wolves, Sea Lions, Meerkats and many other species, Top attractions include the amazing Sea Lion Shows, Falconry Display and Sea Lion Swims.

Exmoor Zoo is described as a "family zoo" on their website and it certainly makes a great day out for families.  There are many exotic and rare animals as well as birds to see which are living in natural surroundings.  Some recent improvements at the zoo include a new 5 metre tower at the cheetahs and raised walkways at the "beast".  There is also a new viewing platform over the sitatunga.  As well as the amazing animals to experience there are regular fun activities such as face painting, daily events and zoo trails.
