Lakeland View is a large and spacious former B&B, tucked away in the popular town of Keswick, Cumbria. Enjoying a superb position within the Lake District National Park, with exceptional views out towards Skiddaw and the local amenities right on your doorstep, Lakeland View is a fantastic choice for couples, friends and families.

On the ground floor, you will find a well-equipped kitchen for rustling up your best dishes, ready to enjoy at the dining table as you recount the dayâ€™s adventures. After dinner, kick-back and relax in the inviting sitting area, with plenty of plush seating and a Smart TV, ideal for enjoying movie nights with loved ones.

The ground floor also hosts four tastefully decorated double bedrooms and a double sofa bed, all of which are served by a well-appointed shower room, perfect for freshening up after a day of exploring. Outside, you can enjoy the hot tub to relax and unwind and observe the stars above.

Nice cottage situated near to the centre of Keswick opposite the Pencil Museum. 4 ensuite double bedrooms, a kitchen with all necessary facilities and a large sitting room. Parking for 2 cars, a third small one at a pinch. Very clean, warm and comfortable.

Great location. Only a few minutes walk into Keswick. Lovely spacious rooms and the 2 parking spaces were ideal. We loved the hot tub!

We love this day out in Cumbria where you're encouraged to "take a fresh look". Some of the amazing animals you will get to see include the only Canadian Lynx in the UK and you will have the opportunity to help their Lynx Conservation Project. The Asian Fishing Cat is also well worth a look - these cats are known for diving under the water and catching fish! Other activities include fantastic flying displays and play areas for the little ones...

South Lakes Safari Zoo - LA12 0LU

This is an amazing Cumbria attraction well known locally as well as nationally for how close you can get to the animals. Described as the most interactive animal park in Europe it's well worth a visit if you are staying in the area. Open from April to end October some of the highlights are the tigers, penguins, bears, hippos and rhinos. At 2pm during certain seasons it's feeding time so don't forget to plan your day around this so you can watch the animals enjoying their feed. Look out for seasonal events such as Halloween Zoo Boo (free entry for kids in fancy dress) and The Magic of Christmas.
